Unlicensed Broker 'AI Trade' Receives Warning from Spanish Financial Regulator
On December 5, 2023, the Spanish financial regulator, CNMV, issued a warning against an unregulated forex broker known as 'AI Trade.'
As per its website, 'AI Trade' purports to be a financial brokerage firm offering a variety of financial instruments, including Forex. However, the broker fails to provide any regulatory details, casting doubt on its legitimacy.
Despite the company providing a U.S. address, no self-claimed regulatory information is available for verification. Furthermore, a search for 'AI Trade' on the National Futures Association (NFA) yielded no results, indicating that the broker is not regulated.
It's important to note that all Forex brokers operating in the U.S. are required to be NFA members.
Informed FX investors are strongly advised against trading on unregulated platforms, particularly those that have been flagged by financial regulators. Trading on such platforms could lead to unprotected funds and a lack of recourse for compensation claims.
