StoneX Opens New Offices in India to Expand Local Presence

StoneX, a global financial services company, has announced the opening of new offices in Pune and Bangalore, which can accommodate up to 800 employees.

In 2019, StoneX established its Global Capability Centre in India and has seen growth there. Today, StoneX has 550 staff in India.

Additionally, as a member of India International Bullion Exchange (IIBX), StoneX has established an office in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City, focusing on precious metals trading.

Emphasizing the key role India has played in the group's technology development, Greg Kallinikos, CEO of APAC StoneX, said, “India has consistently been at the forefront of technological innovation across various sectors, making it a natural choice for expanding our technology and support operations. The robust talent pool in the financial services sector has been another point of attraction in establishing our Global Capability Centres in Bangalore and Pune.”

Manu Dhir, General Manager, StoneX India, stated, “We started in India with one technology team for our Global Payments business, and have now matured into a cross-functional Global Capability Centre. We have been growing rapidly in terms of headcount numbers: almost 40% year-on-year.
