Sicher Mayor FX Review: $20 Standard vs $3,000 Gold, Regulation and Withdrawal Terms

The short answer: assess the account, not just the brand

Sicher Mayor FX has two meaningful attractions for an eligible international CFD trader: an advertised $20 Standard account and MetaTrader 5 access across several asset classes. There is also a Mauritius investment-dealer record for Sicher Mayor Capital Limited. The difficult part is not finding a regulation badge; it is reconciling that entity with the customer agreement currently linked by the broker, which contains different company and jurisdiction references in its English and Arabic text.

That mismatch changes the decision. The $3,000 Gold Standard account should not be selected simply because its card advertises commission-free trading from 1 pip: the Standard card does not provide a comparable spread or commission schedule. Before committing more capital, a customer needs the applicable Capital Limited agreement, account-specific pricing and a usable withdrawal route in writing. This is a documented disclosure issue, not a finding that the Mauritius entity is fictitious or that every withdrawal fails.

Eligibility comes first. The official site excludes residents of Japan, the UAE, the USA, Iran, North Korea and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Quebec and Saskatchewan. Its restrictions are not exhaustive. A local-language website, payment logo or absence from that list does not establish permission to serve someone in another jurisdiction. The Sicher Mayor FX broker profile is useful for comparing the site's current offer with older store fields and reading attributed user feedback.

Regulation: a real Mauritius entry, but an inconsistent linked agreement

The Mauritius FSC public register lists Sicher Mayor Capital Limited under SEC-2.1B, Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting), dated 10 March 2025. Its Port-Louis address matches the broker's disclosure. This supports identifying a financial-services entity, rather than describing the whole brand as simply unregulated. It does not establish that every company using the brand, every advertised service or every resident is covered.

Record or document What it supports What it does not establish
Mauritius FSC: Sicher Mayor Capital Limited Named investment-dealer entity and category; matching Port-Louis address The displayed record leaves the website blank and does not confirm the site's GB24203629 or the store's 217827 reference
UK Companies House: 13862612 Corporate number of SICHER MAYOR LTD An FCA licence or coverage of the Mauritius account
Current linked bilingual agreement Evidence of the terms and conflicting references publicly supplied by the site A clear, entity-matched contract for every current account

The distinction is material because the live site's linked client agreement is not internally consistent. On PDF page 5, the English text refers to Sicher Mayor FX and England and Wales using 13862612; the corresponding Arabic text names Mix Global Financial Services LLC and refers to the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority using the same number. On page 86, the English governing-law text points to England and Wales while the Arabic points to the UAE. These are differences in corporate and legal references, not merely different phrasing.

The practical requirement is an account agreement that clearly identifies the contracting entity, applicable law, complaint route and fee schedule. Do not infer an FCA or UAE SCA licence from this PDF. Equally, the mismatch does not erase the separately verified Mauritius record. The site claims segregated client funds but its risk warning says losses may exceed the initial investment; an unconditional negative-balance guarantee or deposit-insurance promise cannot be assumed.

Standard or Gold Standard: what does the extra $2,980 buy?

The current account lineup differs from older Standard/VIP/ECN tables. The live site presents Standard and Gold Standard as available, while Cent is marked Coming Soon. The advertised $10 Cent threshold is therefore not today's confirmed live-account entry point.

Account Advertised entry and leverage Public pricing / availability
Standard $20; up to 1:1000 MT5; card does not state spread or commission
Gold Standard $3,000; up to 1:500 MT5; spreads from 1 pip; no commissions advertised
Cent $10 future advertised entry Coming Soon; from 1.1 pips and commission-free advertised for the future offer

Gold's deposit threshold is 150 times Standard's, or $2,980 more. That is additional funded capital, not a $2,980 fee. Yet it still needs a reason: the public cards do not show that Gold has a lower actual total trading cost than Standard. A customer considering an upgrade needs comparable quotes for the same symbol, size and trading session, together with any commission and holding charges. A larger account balance alone does not make that comparison favourable.

For an eligible trader assessing the service with limited initial capital, Standard has the lower advertised entry requirement. That is not an endorsement of trading a $20 balance at maximum leverage. The general site banner mentions 1:500, while the Standard card says up to 1:1000; use the actual account and instrument rules, rather than assigning one leverage limit to the whole brand. A payment-method minimum can also differ from the account-opening minimum.

Cost arithmetic: what 'from 1 pip' does—and does not—tell you

Consider an illustration, not an observed quote: a USD account trades 0.10 standard lot of EUR/USD, assuming 100,000 EUR per standard lot and a pip of 0.0001 USD per EUR. Pip value is 100,000 × 0.10 × 0.0001 = $1. With an unchanged midpoint and a constant 1-pip spread, an opening-and-closing cycle costs $1 in spread. At 1 standard lot it would be $10. The spread is counted once in this unchanged-market round trip, not once on each side.

The example uses Gold's advertised starting spread and no explicit commission. It excludes slippage, overnight financing, currency conversion and payment charges. If the spread in the same 0.10-lot scenario were 2 pips, the spread component would be $2; that is a sensitivity example, not a claim about Sicher Mayor's average pricing. 'From 1 pip' is neither a typical spread nor a guaranteed price on every instrument.

Without Standard's comparable charges, there is no defensible break-even trading volume for the Gold upgrade. For an intraday trader, the important missing inputs are actual symbol spreads and commission. For someone holding positions overnight, the relevant swap or other holding adjustment may matter more; depending on the instrument and position direction, an applicable financing adjustment may be a charge or a credit. MT5 symbol specifications and the applicable fee schedule—not the headline account name—must supply those inputs.

MT5 offers useful tools; the contract decides how you may use them

The broker advertises MT5 for desktop, mobile and web, with currency pairs, gold and silver, indices, stock CFDs, commodities and cryptocurrency CFDs. That makes a single-platform workflow plausible for a trader already using MT5 charting and order tools. Stock CFDs do not confer ownership of the underlying shares, and cryptocurrency CFDs are not the same as buying coins for transfer to a wallet.

Automated strategies need closer attention. MT5 supports Expert Advisors, but clause 9.11 of the currently linked PDF calls for a prior request and confirmation, with an EA account designation, and describes possible reversal of EA orders where those requirements are absent. Because the PDF's entity references are unresolved, this is a condition to clarify in the actual contract—not proof that every current Mauritius account prohibits EAs. Someone migrating an existing robot needs written account-level permission, not merely confirmation that the platform can run it.

The same distinction matters for swap-free trading. The linked PDF's clause 9.12 allows storage fees on certain instruments held for one day or more and addresses specified misuse of the swap-free facility. It does not support a promise of unlimited free holding, nor a blanket statement that all ordinary hedging is banned. Confirm eligible symbols, the fee start time and the rate in the agreement for the actual entity.

The current order-execution policy acknowledges slippage and factors such as liquidity, volatility, order size and system availability. The homepage's execution-speed figure and illustrative price panels are not a verified record of customer fills. A strategy dependent on precise stop execution or a narrow spread during news therefore needs evidence beyond the platform brand and marketing speed claim.

Deposits and withdrawals: broad payment advertising, narrower confirmed terms

The formal Capital Limited deposit policy explicitly names Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer, USDT on supported networks, Skrill and Neteller. The funding page displays additional payment options. That is not a reason to discard them, but it is a reason to separate advertised deposit choices from a confirmed route available to a particular resident—and from withdrawals.

Method family Evidence for deposits Decision-relevant limit
Bank transfer Funding page and formal deposit policy Country, currency, minimum, intermediary costs and payout timing need confirmation
Visa / Mastercard Explicitly named in deposit policy Eligible refunds to the original source do not establish how all profits are withdrawn
Skrill / Neteller Explicitly named in deposit policy No separate published payout fee, limit or fixed arrival deadline verified
USDT Deposit policy names supported networks Do not assume a particular chain, free transfer, instant credit or an available payout network
Amex, UnionPay, UPI, Paytm, AstroPay, Perfect Money, Apple Pay and other e-wallets Displayed under Deposit Methods on funding page Not individually enumerated in the narrower policy; resident-specific availability and withdrawal support need confirmation

Payments generally must come from an account or method in the customer's own name. KYC and source-of-funds checks can be required; currency conversion costs may apply. Card and e-wallet deposits are generally credited after successful authorization, while bank and crypto deposits depend on receipt, confirmations and compliance review. These are processing conditions, not guaranteed arrival times.

For someone planning to use a small account, the missing withdrawal details matter as much as the $20 entry figure: the permitted route for profits, minimum payout, provider and conversion charges, internal approval time and external settlement time. The public funding and deposit pages do not provide a complete method-by-method withdrawal schedule. A displayed Apple Pay or UnionPay logo does not establish that profits can be withdrawn through that route.

The refund policy concerns issues such as duplicated or erroneous deposits, not reversal of trading losses. Its usual return-to-original-source wording should not be converted into a universal profit-withdrawal rule. Separately, clause 17.4 in the linked PDF permits funds to be retained for specified margin, liability, dispute or legal-compliance reasons; its applicability must be clarified with the entity mismatch. Neither provision proves a particular customer was denied a valid payout.

Leaving money idle: a specific fee question, not a minor footnote

The current Capital Limited dormant-account policy says inactivity can lead to dormant status and that any applicable charge will be disclosed in advance or in a fee schedule. It gives no number of inactive days or fee amount. That omission cannot be summarized as 'no inactivity fee.'

The currently linked agreement is more specific: clause 6.7 on PDF page 19 describes three consecutive months without new trades or rollovers of existing positions, with a $60 monthly inactive-account fee and the first possible debit described as four months after the last activity. It is capped at the credit balance and does not create a debit balance. Because the document's entity references differ from the current policy pages, $60 must not be presented as a conclusively applicable charge on every new Mauritius account.

This is particularly important for someone depositing only a small sum and then pausing. Before leaving an account funded but unused, obtain the actual inactivity trigger, amount and closure/reactivation conditions. The right conclusion is not that low-frequency trading is inherently unsuitable; it is that the cost of keeping this specific account idle remains unresolved in the public documents.

What the customer feedback actually establishes

The BrokersView profile's user reviews contain both positive and negative experiences. A Bangladesh-based reviewer, Kumar, wrote on 5 November 2025 that withdrawals were no longer possible. The visible entry does not establish an amount, supporting transaction documents or the eventual outcome. It warrants attention as an attributed complaint, but does not prove that the money remains unpaid today.

A Vietnam-based reviewer, Prudence Hart, praised withdrawals and support on 25 April 2025; the brand later thanked the reviewer. That is positive feedback, not a measured withdrawal-speed result. Another negative entry dated 22 June 2025 expressly describes WCEX; the brand's reply says WCEX is not affiliated. Without a substantiated connection, that case should not be counted as a verified Sicher Mayor withdrawal failure.

Capital Limited's complaint policy provides complaints@sichermayor.com and asks for account details and supporting information. It aims to acknowledge within two business days and provide a substantive response within 15 business days where reasonably possible, with complex cases taking longer. Those are response targets, not repayment deadlines or evidence that a particular dispute has been resolved.

Verdict: the unresolved contract is more important than the low entry amount

For an eligible international trader who wants MT5 and several CFD markets, the $20 Standard threshold is a tangible access advantage, and the Mauritius register entry is a meaningful fact. Gold adds an explicit commission-free, from-1-pip offer, but public information does not demonstrate that it is cheaper than Standard. The advertised Cent account is not yet a usable $10 alternative.

The limits are also specific: inconsistent entities and governing laws in the linked agreement, incomplete Standard pricing, unresolved inactivity and automated-trading conditions, and no complete public withdrawal matrix. These are the questions that should determine whether the offer fits a strategy and cash-access requirement. Until the actual Capital Limited contract and account schedule reconcile them, committing $3,000 for a presumed cost advantage is not supported by the evidence.

For Japan and UAE residents, the published residency exclusion settles the access question before any account comparison. For eligible users elsewhere, the decision depends on the contract and practical payment route—not an aggregate review score, a licence badge or the largest leverage number.
