The Financial Services Authority of Seychelles (FSA) has issued a public warning regarding the website https://commercialregister.sc, operated by Commercialregister LTD, an entity falsely presenting itself as an official “Commercial Register of Seychelles”.

According to the Seychelles FSA, the company is using the Seychelles Coat of Arms and the FSA logo on its website without permission, creating the misleading impression that it is a government body or an official registry. The FSA stressed that Commercialregister LTD is neither affiliated with the Government of Seychelles nor authorized to use any official logos, images, or templates.
The alert underscores that several information displayed on the site is inaccurate and misleading. Accordingly, the FSA strongly urges the public to exercise caution when dealing with or considering any services offered by Commercialregister LTD or its associated website.
A review of the website reveals that the entity is selling certificates, including Certificates of Incorporation, Good Standing, and Official Search, allegedly issued by the Seychelles FSA, for offshore companies, at 99 euros each.

BrokersView reminds the public not to rely on Commercialregister LTD for business registration or legal documentation and to verify all business registry services directly with the Seychelles FSA.
By mimicking official registries, scammers attempt to gain trust and defraud people of their money. In June, the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) issued a warning about fraudulent platforms that spoof its Public Register of License Holders and Registered Persons to defraud investors by fabricating Malaysia SC's regulatory licenses.
