ICM MENA Promotes Ahmed Kamal to CEO After Seven Years

ICM MENA has promoted Ahmed Kamal to Chief Executive Officer, moving its Regional Manager into the top role at ICM.com’s Middle East and North Africa unit.

Kamal joined ICM in March 2019 as a Business Development Manager and has since held several positions within its regional business.

From Business Development to Regional Leadership

His progression included roles as Senior Business Development Manager and regional Team Leader before becoming Regional Manager. Before joining ICM, Kamal worked at JMI Brokers.

The promotion follows more than seven years with ICM, during which he worked with regional clients, partners and teams.

Focus on MENA Client and Partner Relationships

Shoaib Abedi, ICM’s Founder and Chairman, said the promotion recognised Kamal’s contribution to the business and his leadership in building its MENA team.

Kamal said his priorities include strengthening relationships with traders and partners across the region and maintaining service standards as he takes on the CEO role.
