GTCFX has hired Raechel Rose as Head of Compliance and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), according to an October 26 report by FX News Group. The appointment follows recent changes to the Dubai-based CFD broker’s senior management.
Rose joins GTCFX after spending approximately one year as Compliance Manager at ATFX MENA, the report said. She previously spent three years in know-your-customer (KYC) and compliance roles at Equiti Group.
Her appointment adds to GTCFX’s recent recruitment of executives with compliance and regulatory backgrounds.
As BrokersView previously reported, GTCFX appointed Charbel Raffoul as Chief Executive Officer, according to a company announcement published on October 19. Raffoul brings nearly two decades of financial services experience, including more than eight years at Equiti.
The broker also named Abdelrahman Ahmed Al Ali as General Manager. He previously served as a Legal Specialist in the Enforcement Department of the UAE’s Securities and Commodities Authority, now the Capital Market Authority.
Al Ali’s responsibilities include operational efficiency, organisational development and internal management standards.
