CFTC Reminds Victims of Ponzi Scam 'Traders Domain' to Complete Claims Process

On June 3, the Division of Enforcement of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) issued an announcement reminding Traders Domain clients to complete the claims process by July 28th.

According to the CFTC, individuals who believe they have fallen victim to the alleged Ponzi scheme are encouraged to complete the claims process through a link available on the regulator's official website.

In November 2024, the CFTC issued a notice urging victims of Trader Domain to share information with authorities. However, participation in the investigation would not be regarded as completing the claims process.

On September 30, 2024, the CFTC filed a lawsuit against Traders Domain. It was reported that this company used XAU/USD and other leveraged/margin retail trading products to attract investments, but it was a Ponzi scheme. They made false promises to customers, fabricated information, falsified trading records, and misappropriated customer funds.

In the fall of 2022, some clients discovered that they could not withdraw from Traders Domain, but the criminals did not stop their activities. They scammed millions of dollars in the six months after the withdrawal problems became apparent. It later changed its name to Trubluefx.

In 2022, the CFTC placed Traders Domain on its warning list.
