CONTENT An American woman kept pretending to be a good person, advising me that the other party was a Southeast Asian "pig butchering scam" and that I should stop sending money to their fake platform account. She also said that the other party was not a real person and was not in the United States. After I was scammed, she kept comforting me and helping me report it to the police. Then she suddenly said she could help me earn back whatever I could. I immediately knew what kind of person the American woman was. She couldn't transfer the money to the Ponzi scheme she was promoting through the exchange, so I guessed why the American woman called her a scammer and helped report her to the police: because the scammer had stolen her big fish. I urge everyone to be wary not only of Southeast Asian scammers but also of Western scammers. Western scammers don't have the same sophisticated and advanced operational platforms as their Southeast Asian counterparts, who are trained in jargon and psychology. Under no circumstances should you trust anyone except your family!

IG Markets Ltd maliciously deducted $270,000 from my account!

CONTENT I registered as a user on IG Markets on August 29, 2025, and tried depositing funds to trade a few days later. Although I incurred some losses at first, everything went smoothly with my trading and deposits/withdrawals. Until October 28, 2025, I was no longer able to trade using any of my trading accounts, nor could I withdraw funds from any of them. At that time, my account still had $108,208.70. When I expressed my questions to IG Markets' customer service, they cited a compliance review as the reason and asked me to wait patiently. I do not believe there is anything wrong with my account, and I have not received any inquiries from IG Markets. Of course, I am willing to cooperate with them. But I just kept waiting. On December 3, 2025, I received an email from them saying that the relevant department had deducted a total of $271,373.4 from my account (my account balance is currently -$163,164.7). According to the email from IG, I violated the Agreement and my order was deemed a trading error. They deducted my trading profits and volume rebates from October 21, 2025, on that day. My request: to refund all the deducted funds and allow me to withdraw them.

CONTENT I opened a CFD account with IG Markets, deposited funds as usual, and traded through their website/app. In early November 2025, I submitted a withdrawal request to withdraw the remaining funds in my account, approximately $49,846.48. On November 4th, the platform sent an email stating that "funds cannot be returned and bank statements are required," which I submitted that same day. Customer service subsequently confirmed via email that my bank card information had been verified. However, since November 4th, the withdrawal has not been processed. During this time, I have contacted them multiple times via email and WhatsApp, but they only repeatedly reply with "account under review" and "processed with priority, please wait patiently," without providing any clear reason or timeline, effectively freezing my funds for over a month. Even more outrageous, I recently received an email from the IG team unilaterally claiming that my trades were "erroneous trades/arbitrage" and that starting October 21, 2025, they would retroactively cancel some trades and void rebates, which is equivalent to arbitrarily deducting my profits and account funds, while terminating my client agreement, but still not returning the remaining funds to me. I have never used any illegal software or "delayed arbitrage," and all trades were completed manually through the official IG platform. Previously, IG explicitly stated in WhatsApp chat, "We guarantee you will receive all funds; we are not a scam." However, the reality is that withdrawals have been delayed for an extended period, and now funds are being deducted. I believe IG's actions have severely infringed upon the legitimate rights and interests of its clients, constituting malicious delays in withdrawals, refusal to pay under the pretext of so-called "review/error transactions," and unilateral modification of transaction results and deduction of funds afterward.
