However, our investigation reveals that this licence was actually issued by the Mwali International Services Authority (MISA), and while the registered company name and domain do match those used by the platform, it is important to note that MISA is an offshore regulator with limited international recognition and supervisory capacity. As such, this licence does not indicate robust or stringent regulatory oversight.

Additionally, VALOR MARKETS states that its South African entity, VALOR MARKETS (PTY) LTD, is regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) under licence number 54447. While this entity does appear in the FSCA’s public register, the FSCA does not list associated domains, making it difficult to fully confirm the connection between the registered entity and the trading platform. Moreover, the FSCA’s regulatory framework is often considered less stringent compared to top-tier regulators due to its offshore nature.
