LHFX claims to operate under the name of Longhorn Ltd, regulated by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) in Mauritius. Our checks with the Mauritius FSC did locate a company under the corresponding name, however, since the Mauritius FSC does not disclose licensee's domain names, it is challenging to verify whether this platform is genuinely associated with the licensed entity.

Additionally, LHFX states that its South African entity, LHFX SA (PTY) Ltd, is an authorized Financial Service Provider regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) under license number 52816. While we found matching records for this claim as well, similarly, the absence of domain registration details means further verification is necessary. 

It's also important to note that both the Mauritius FSC and FSCA are offshore regulators known for relatively lax oversight and limited investor protection. Therefore, investors' funds held with an offshore-licensed entity should not be considered fully safeguarded. 

Despite LHFX appearing to be regulated, we still recommend investors should proceed with caution when trading with the broker. Please ensure you conduct thorough research and prepare adequately before engaging with any trading platforms under such regulatory environments.
