On the evening of August 19, 2026 (early morning of August 20, Beijing time), multiple China users of Starbridge Capital (SBCFX) reported that their trading accounts were suddenly liquidated, with some claiming their balances were wiped out within seconds.
According to user reports, SBCFX's spread suddenly widened to approximately $13 before unusually large orders appeared. One cent account reportedly opened a position of approximately 1,880 lots.

Some positions were reportedly opened and closed within one second, triggering rapid losses and forced liquidations.
Affected users said accounts that normally traded small volumes suddenly received orders ranging from hundreds to more than 5,000 lots.
Several users also claimed that abnormal positions were closed almost simultaneously between 21:34:48 and 21:34:50.

Both users following third-party signal providers and those using automated trading systems reportedly experienced similar issues.

This has led to widespread questioning about the origin of the abnormal orders and whether the incident involved irregular trade execution or system manipulation.
On August 20, some users further reported difficulties logging into their accounts or withdrawing remaining funds, claiming the platform repeatedly requested verification codes, preventing them from accessing their accounts or completing withdrawal requests.

It remains unclear whether these reported access and withdrawal issues are directly connected to the earlier account liquidation incident.
More than a dozen hours after the incident was first reported by users, SBCFX had not issued an official public statement addressing the alleged abnormal orders, sudden account liquidations, or subsequent access and withdrawal complaints at the time of publication.
The allegations in this report are based on user accounts and have not been independently verified. SBCFX has not publicly responded to the specific claims as of publication.
Affected users are advised to preserve all available evidence, including transaction records, order tickets, trading history, server logs, account statements, screenshots, and communications with customer support. Such records may be important in determining the source and execution of the reported abnormal orders.
This story is developing, and we will continue to monitor the situation for any official response from SBCFX.
