Online Trading Sector Veteran Don Montanaro Becomes Firstrade's President

Leading online brokerage firm Firstrade Securities Inc. has appointed Don Montanaro as President, responsible for supporting Firstrade's existing and new clients, developing business line strategies, and driving the company's growth initiatives.

Montanaro brings more than 30 years of online trading leadership experience to Firstrade. He founded the stock brokerage firm SURETRADE in 1997, which was acquired by Fleet Financial and later Bank of America. In 2005, he founded the retail trading firm TradeKing.

Montanaro holds J.D. from The Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law and B.A. from The University of Notre Dame.

Additionally, as seen from his LinkedIn profile, Montanaro held the roles of Non-Executive Director of neobroker BUX, Member Board Of Directors at Gotrade (YC S19) and 8 Securities, Founding Partner of Velocity Fund Management B.V.
