Mega Fusion Review: Account Costs, Withdrawal Fees and Trading Restrictions

Mega Fusion in brief: useful pricing, important contractual qualifications

Mega Fusion offers familiar trading platforms and a clear three-tier account range, but its headline pricing does not settle the most important questions. The minimum deposit rises from $100 on STD to $5,000 on ECN; the ECN commission is quoted without clearly identifying whether it applies to one side or a completed round trip. More significantly, the Mauritius client agreement contains conditional withdrawal charges and trading restrictions that deserve attention before money is committed.

The practical verdict is conditional. This is a broker worth comparing on account economics, not one that can be evaluated from a ‘zero fees’ message or a group-level licence badge alone. The Mega Fusion broker profile brings together regulatory information, account details and customer feedback. The decisive documents for an individual trader remain the agreement, fee schedule and execution rules issued by the company actually holding that account.

Regulation: identify the company, not just the brand

BrokersView’s profile lists Australian ASIC number 398693, Mauritius FSC licence GB23201920 and South African FSCA number 54221. The broker’s current legal hub separately presents Mauritius and South African agreements. Its footer identifies Mega Fusion Group Limited in Mauritius and Mega Fusion Group (Pty) Ltd in South Africa. These are separate legal and regulatory contexts, not interchangeable layers of protection attached to every account.

A client should match the company named in the signed agreement, the licence holder and the permitted service before assessing recourse. A registration number, a financial-services authorisation and eligibility for a compensation scheme answer different questions. An Australian group connection does not, by itself, make an international retail account an Australian-regulated account. Nor does a licence guarantee the recovery of a disputed withdrawal.

The contractual analysis below concerns the Mauritius agreement. It should not automatically be applied to a South African account or an older contract. Residence also matters: the site lists restrictions including the United States, Japan and Australia. A translated website or an accessible registration form is not evidence that a resident is eligible.

STD, PRO and ECN: what the published tiers actually offer

The international account page lists STD from $100, spreads from 1.2 pips and maximum leverage of 1:1,000; PRO from $1,000, spreads from 0.7 pips and maximum leverage of 1:500; and ECN from $5,000, spreads from zero and a $4-per-lot commission, with maximum leverage of 1:500. STD and PRO do not show a separate commission in that comparison. These are advertised starting conditions, not fixed spreads or a guarantee that every instrument receives the maximum leverage.

The useful distinction is the trade-off between funded capital and transaction pricing. A trader with limited turnover might not save enough on PRO to justify holding additional money at the broker. ECN imposes a still higher funding threshold, so its value depends on the actual spread distribution and how the commission is charged—not on the account label.

MT4/MT5 availability and the familiar order-management environment are practical strengths for users already working with those tools. They reduce switching friction; they do not independently establish fill quality, withdrawal reliability or the fairness of a disputed trade adjustment.

A worked cost comparison: why ‘zero spread’ may not be cheapest

For one standard lot of EUR/USD in a US-dollar account, one pip is approximately $10. At the advertised starting spreads, the spread component of a completed position is therefore about $12 on STD and $7 on PRO. This calculation is an illustration based on the quoted floors; actual quotes can widen, and swaps, currency conversion and execution slippage are additional costs.

Suppose ECN has a 0.2-pip spread when a trade is placed. Its spread cost would be about $2. If the quoted $4 commission covers the whole round trip, the combined cost is about $6. If $4 is charged on opening and another $4 on closing, it is about $10. The same headline can therefore describe a cheaper or a more expensive outcome than PRO. Obtain the commission basis in writing, including whether minimum ticket charges or instrument-specific rates apply.

Against PRO at 0.7 pips, ECN with a $4 round-trip commission breaks even at a 0.3-pip spread. With an $8 round-trip commission, commission alone already exceeds PRO’s $7 illustrated spread cost. Twenty comparable one-lot round trips would produce a theoretical $100 STD-to-PRO spread saving, but the additional $900 minimum funding is capital held with the broker, not a fee or a guaranteed return. Position size, turnover and cash exposure belong in the comparison together.

The 6% withdrawal clause: when ‘no standard fee’ is not enough

The Mauritius client agreement distinguishes standard payment charges from charges triggered by specified conditions. Clause 56.4 says there is normally no additional deposit or withdrawal fee, subject to third-party costs and other provisions. Clause 56.6 then provides for a 6% processing charge where an applicable trading-volume requirement has not been met. It is therefore incorrect to describe all withdrawals as free—and equally incorrect to say every withdrawal costs 6%.

The volume requirement is described by reference to rules prescribed, announced or notified by the company; this clause does not supply one universal lot threshold that every reader can use. The stated calculation refers to relevant actual inflows or outflows. Before funding, ask which volume requirement applies, which transactions count, whether internal transfers are included, the precise fee base and whether the rule differs for a refund, account closure or partial withdrawal.

If the confirmed fee base were $1,000, 6% would be $60. That is an arithmetic example, not a quote for every withdrawal request. The agreement also says application of this volume-based charge does not, by itself, establish fraud, arbitrage or contractual misconduct. Do not confuse that provision with separate clauses dealing with allegedly improper trading. Trading more simply to escape a charge can create spreads, commissions and market losses exceeding the fee; request a written calculation and challenge any unexplained deduction through the formal process.

Withdrawal time, identity checks and dormant-account costs

Promotional material describes fast payment processing, including a 30-minute withdrawal claim. The Mauritius agreement instead gives a conditional processing window from the same day to three business days. Processing is not the same as arrival in a bank account or wallet. Identity checks, source-of-funds enquiries, payment-provider delays and investigations can change the practical timeline.

Use only the authorised payment channel and an account in the client’s own name. Check whether funds must return to the original card first, how profits are paid, whether conversion is needed and who bears intermediary-bank charges. Preserve the request timestamp, payment reference and the exact reason supplied for any delay. A small successful withdrawal can test one payment route, but it cannot guarantee all future withdrawals, particularly after a larger balance or a trading dispute develops.

The Mauritius contract also describes a $10 monthly inactivity charge after 90 days without the specified account activity, limited to the remaining balance if that is smaller. Someone depositing infrequently should compare this continuing cost with any spread saving. Leaving an account funded and unused is not necessarily cost-free.

A material discrepancy: 30% or 50% stop-out?

The public account table shows a 100% margin-call level and 30% stop-out. Clause 44.5 of the Mauritius agreement states 50% stop-out. This is a substantive inconsistency, not a rounding difference. Neither number should be silently selected as the universal rule: ask the broker to confirm the threshold applied to the specific trading server, account and legal entity, and retain that answer.

Margin level normally means equity divided by used margin, multiplied by 100. If used margin is $200, a 30% threshold corresponds to $60 equity, while 50% corresponds to $100. The earlier trigger would be $40 higher in this simplified example. Stop-out is not a promise that exactly that equity remains after closing positions; gaps and slippage can change the result.

Higher leverage changes margin requirements, not the loss generated by a given market move at the same position size. An illustrative $110,000 position requires $110 margin at 1:1,000 or $220 at 1:500. A ten-pip EUR/USD move on one standard lot still represents about $100. The ability to open a position with less margin should not be mistaken for a smaller economic exposure.

ECN execution and the limits of trading strategies

The Mauritius execution policy says the company acts as principal and counterparty and describes possible execution arrangements including internal matching. An ECN product name therefore does not establish that the broker acts solely as an agent forwarding every order to an outside venue. This model creates a conflict that must be managed; its existence alone is not proof of price manipulation or a particular complaint.

The client agreement restricts specified abusive or unusually short-term trading practices, including certain activity around extreme volatility and concentrated orders that the company says it cannot hedge. That requires more careful reading than either ‘all scalping is allowed’ or ‘all news trading is banned’. Normal news-related trading is not automatically the same as an abusive strategy.

An EA user or a trader taking very short-duration positions should obtain written treatment of the actual strategy: typical holding period, order frequency, latency sensitivity, hedging and news-event behaviour. A sales representative’s informal reassurance may not resolve a later disagreement over contractual definitions. This review does not infer a universal three-minute minimum holding time from a customer’s description of a dispute.

Negative-balance protection is conditional

Clause 43.8 provides negative-balance protection but also reserves exceptions and adjustment rights involving alleged abuse and exceptional market conditions, among other circumstances. This is a positive provision with qualifications, not an unconditional promise that a deposit is the maximum possible loss in every scenario.

Keep three concepts separate: stop-out is an automatic risk-control mechanism, negative-balance protection governs treatment of a resulting deficit, and compensation eligibility concerns a different question of covered claims or firm failure. None substitutes for checking the others. Claims about segregation or insurance should likewise be tested against the named holder, policy scope and exclusions rather than read as an unlimited client-fund guarantee.

Customer complaints and positive feedback: what they can establish

An April 2026 BrokersView complaint about alleged profit deductions describes roughly $1,100 of the complainant’s own profits and a separate friend’s dispute. A June complaint describes a $62,585 withdrawal request and alleges that profits were removed while principal remained. The latter number is a requested withdrawal amount, not an adjudicated loss. These are customer allegations; a complaint page does not establish that the broker committed fraud or that the customer breached trading rules.

There is also favourable feedback on the broker profile, including an April user account of convenient deposits, withdrawals and responsive support. That is relevant positive experience, but the small and self-selected sample does not support a withdrawal success rate or a representative satisfaction score. Successful payments and a serious dispute can coexist without either cancelling the other.

Both cited complaints predate the Mauritius agreement dated 18 June 2026 discussed above. Its wording cannot be applied retrospectively to decide those cases. A meaningful review would require the agreement accepted at the time, order records, the fee or adjustment calculation and a substantive company response. The complaints nevertheless identify useful due-diligence questions: who can remove profits, under which clause, on what evidence, and with what appeal route?

How to document and escalate a dispute

The Mauritius contract asks clients to raise a complaint within three business days, describes a response within five business days after receipt and confirmation, and aims for resolution within 30 business days. These are company-stated procedural terms, not a conclusion that all statutory rights disappear after three days or that resolution is guaranteed within 30 days. Act promptly and keep dated records rather than relying on a prolonged chat conversation.

A useful complaint includes the account identifier, request and trade timestamps, affected order numbers, payment receipts, the disputed amount and the remedy sought. Ask for the exact contractual provision, the version accepted, server-side execution records and an itemised calculation. The published support address is support@mega-fusion.com. If the response is inadequate, identify the regulator or dispute route relevant to the contracting entity and service; do not assume the most prominent licence badge gives jurisdiction over the claim.

Who should consider it—and the questions to settle first

Mega Fusion’s strengths are the familiar platform environment, multiple account tiers and potentially competitive spread pricing. Its weaknesses in the public decision-making material are the ambiguous ECN commission basis, the conflicting stop-out figures and conditional withdrawal and trading provisions that materially affect the experience beyond the quoted spread. Traders who need uncomplicated low-turnover withdrawals, a clearly defined short-term strategy policy or certainty over local protection should resolve those issues before funding.

Is Mega Fusion regulated? The profile lists several authorisations, but protection depends on the actual company and service. Are withdrawals free? Standard charges and the conditional 6% clause must be read together. Is ECN cheapest? Only after confirming the commission basis and actual spread. Does a higher leverage limit help? It reduces required margin, not the loss on an unchanged position.

The sensible next step is to compare the account information and customer record for Mega Fusion with the written offer made to the individual client. Resolve entity, fees, stop-out and strategy eligibility as one package. A lower entry spread is a genuine benefit only when the surrounding conditions are sufficiently clear and suitable for the intended use. Leveraged foreign exchange and CFDs carry a high risk of loss.
