GO Markets Review: Standard vs GO Plus+, Platforms and Withdrawal Conditions

GO Markets at a glance

GO Markets combines spread-only and commission-based forex accounts with MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView access. Its practical appeal is the choice of trading workflow and a USD 2.50-per-side GO Plus+ forex commission. The choice is less straightforward for share-CFD users, swap-free customers and anyone whose account is held by a different company within the brand.

The GO Markets profile on BrokersView contains both current account fields and historical descriptions. The overview’s USD 200 entry statement should not be treated as a universal current funding requirement: the account fields show zero, while actual platform, payment and margin requirements remain separate. Obtain the requirement attached to the proposed account rather than relying on either summary alone.

Legal entity and local availability

The international English website identifies GO Markets Pty Ltd (MU), company 170969, and states Mauritius FSC Investment Dealer licence GB19024896, Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting. That company is not GO Markets LLC in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. A group brand, payment-processing company or another entity’s licence does not establish which contract governs an individual account.

Japan’s Kanto Local Finance Bureau warned Go Markets Pty Ltd (MU) on 24 May 2024 about unregistered solicitation of over-the-counter derivatives through the internet. A Japanese-language website or JPY payment option is not Japanese registration. The international site also excludes business prohibited by local law or sanctions; it does not establish eligibility for every other residence. The contract’s client-money, liability and complaint terms must be checked for the named company, rather than importing protections from another jurisdiction.

Standard versus GO Plus+

Standard advertises variable forex spreads from 0.8 pips and no separate forex commission. GO Plus+ advertises spreads from zero and USD 2.50 per side per standard FX lot for a USD account. Both headline leverage figures reach 1:500, but the cTrader page separately states a retail maximum of 1:30. Confirm the combination of entity, platform and client classification; neither page is a universal leverage promise.

The commission schedule is tied to account currency: AUD 3, CAD 3, CHF 2.50, EUR 2, GBP 2, HKD 20, NZD 3.50, SGD 3.50 or USD 2.50 per side. These are not all equivalent dollar amounts. A non-USD account needs its own calculation. The commission footnote applies to forex; commodities, indices, crypto and bonds are listed without separate dealing commission, which does not remove spreads or financing.

A reproducible forex cost comparison

For a USD account trading EUR/USD, assume a standard lot of EUR 100,000 and USD 10 per pip. GO Plus+ commission is USD 5 round trip, equivalent to 0.5 pips. It is cheaper on spread plus commission only when its spread advantage exceeds 0.5 pips, with other costs and execution held equal. At 0.01 lot, proportionate commission would be USD 0.05 round trip, subject to the actual platform’s rounding rules.

The broker’s spread page describes its data as indicative observations from 1–28 February 2026. Its EUR/USD table prints averages of 0.1 and 0.9 pips, with the lower-spread column labelled GO PRO rather than GO Plus+. If those rates applied to the offered Plus account, the illustration would be USD 6 versus USD 9 per standard-lot round trip. The label must be confirmed before treating that as an account comparison. It is neither a current executable quote nor independently measured trading performance. Overnight swaps, currency conversion and slippage are additional variables.

Share CFDs have a different fee structure

The published US share-CFD commission is two US cents per share per trade with no minimum. A 100-share position therefore costs USD 2 to open and USD 2 to close, excluding spread and financing. At an assumed USD 10 share price, that USD 4 is 0.4% of a USD 1,000 unchanged position; at USD 100 per share it is 0.04% of USD 10,000. Order size and share price matter more here than the forex account’s headline pip spread.

Hong Kong share CFDs list 0.18% per trade and a minimum of HKD 50 or the stated account-currency equivalent; Australian share CFDs list 0.08% without a minimum. The page also displays Hong Kong data fees of HKD 120 and Australian data fees of AUD 22 with a four-trade rebate requirement. Confirm the billing period and rebate conditions before subscribing. These are CFDs, not a promise of ownership or shareholder voting rights.

Choose the platform around the strategy

MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView are listed, but their availability does not mean every instrument or account feature is identical. The TradingView FAQ offers Standard and Plus accounts for forex, indices, commodities and crypto. It also says all open hedged positions require margin because of current technical limitations. Opposite positions should therefore not be budgeted as automatically margin-free.

TradingView integration is described as free, which is different from receiving every paid charting subscription. Funding remains in the GO Markets portal. cTrader promotes automated strategies using C# or Python and cBots; a MetaTrader EA is not automatically a compatible cBot. Existing automation should be evaluated on the intended platform before selecting an account solely for a lower advertised commission.

Deposits and withdrawals

The Mauritius English funding page lists Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, local transfers in THB/MYR/IDR, international bank transfers and USDT. Different regional pages list other providers and currencies, so these should not be pooled into a universal list. The client portal determines available methods for the customer. A supported currency alone does not establish local authorisation.

There are no advertised internal funding fees, but banks, payment providers, conversion and card cash-advance treatment can add costs. Third-party and over-the-counter cash payments are prohibited. Card withdrawals normally return up to the amount deposited by that card; excess amounts go to a same-name nominated bank account. This matters when the intended profit-withdrawal route differs from the deposit route.

The page describes typical withdrawal processing within 24 hours, first withdrawals taking up to three business days, and a 13:00 AEST cut-off for same-day processing. Processing is not arrival at the receiving bank. Source-of-funds or wealth documents may be requested and missing information can suspend a withdrawal. The statement that an Australian company processes certain payments is not evidence that the trading account itself is Australian.

Swap-free is not unlimited free overnight holding

The swap-free page offers an 11-day fee-free period followed by daily administration charges per lot: indices USD 8, crypto USD 10, spot Brent/WTI USD 15, FX/metals USD 40 and BTC USD 50. BTC has its own row, not the general crypto rate. Confirm precisely how the 11-day period is counted under the applicable terms; it should not be assumed to reset freely with every new position.

The same page limits swap-free accounts to MT4 and USD. Conversion applies to all accounts under a profile, without keeping ordinary and swap-free accounts together. Existing positions and funds must be cleared for conversion, and accounts on MT5, TradingView or cTrader must be closed. For a trader already using those platforms, this is an operational change as well as a financing decision.

User feedback and disputed withdrawals

BrokersView’s August 2026 report describes a Korean investor’s allegation concerning a 25,813.77 USDT withdrawal requested in April 2025 from an SVG account. It explicitly says the claims were not independently verified. Repeated posts by the same customer are not separate independent cases, and the dated report does not establish the account’s payment status today.

The shop also shows Denny’s March 2026 allegation of USD 3,763 profit deduction, while stating that principal had been withdrawn; FXHarisson’s April complaint alleges both profit deduction and retained principal. Both visible cases are marked Processing, not adjudicated findings. Conversely, a June 2026 South African reviewer describes an overall positive experience, and a January reviewer praises platform choice. These statements help identify checks, not an execution score or withdrawal-success percentage. The GO Markets feedback section should be read with each post’s entity, date and outcome in view.

Verdict and common questions

GO Markets deserves consideration for an eligible forex trader who can compare the actual Standard spread with GO Plus+ commission and wants a supported platform workflow. Share-CFD users should instead focus on per-share or percentage minimums and data charges. Swap-free customers face a substantially narrower platform and currency choice. The strongest reason to choose an account is a verified combination of costs and functionality, not a group-wide claim of safety or a zero-spread headline.

Is GO Plus+ always cheaper? No. For the stated USD EUR/USD example, its spread saving must exceed the USD 5 round-trip commission, equivalent to 0.5 pips per standard lot. Use the actual quote and account currency.

Does no internal withdrawal fee mean free receipt? No. Intermediary banks, conversion, providers and receiving institutions can charge. Same-day processing is not guaranteed same-day receipt.

Does the brand’s regulation cover an SVG account? Another company’s licence does not automatically cover it. Match the signed company and applicable documents; the reported SVG complaint must not be presented as a finding against every GO Markets entity.

Can swap-free customers use TradingView? The published swap-free FAQ specifies MT4 and USD only, with conversion affecting the whole profile. It should not be treated as a financing toggle on every platform.
