GCC Brokers Review: Standard vs Pro vs Zero, Fees and Withdrawals

GCC Brokers at a glance

GCC Brokers offers three MT5 accounts with different entry deposits and pricing, rather than three different trading platforms. Standard starts at $25; Pro lowers the published spread without adding commission; Zero uses raw spreads plus a negotiated commission. That makes the choice depend on trading size and the actual commission quote—not the account's name.

The strengths are a low entry deposit, multiple funding routes and access to automated trading on the same platform across accounts. The limitations are equally specific: Zero has no single public commission rate, the contracting company can differ between customers, and contractual negative balance protection is capped. Anyone requiring unlimited protection against a debit balance should not treat this offer as equivalent.

The company excludes US residents and jurisdictions on its stated FATF and EU/UN sanctions lists. An application from elsewhere still requires acceptance and must be lawful locally. The GCC Brokers profile on BrokersView is useful for comparing the brand's information and feedback, but current account terms should not be inferred from older shop fields.

Regulation and the company holding the account

GCC Brokers identifies its Mauritius company, number 193243, as an FSC-licensed Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer, excluding Underwriting), licence GB22200739. Its agreement also names a separate Saint Vincent and the Grenadines company, number 25578 BC 2019, which it explicitly describes as not licensed or regulated for investment business. A company registration is not a substitute for that authorisation.

The broker assigns the contracting entity during onboarding. Customers can decline the arrangement but cannot demand acceptance by the other company; a subsequent transfer requires consent. The important distinction is therefore the entity named on the account documents, not a Mauritius licence displayed elsewhere on the website.

The Dubai representative office's licence 1202392 is not a financial-services licence, and that office does not hold client money. The separately described UAE affiliate GCC Financial Services has an introduction-and-promotion role; it is not the account execution entity. These roles should not be merged into a blanket claim that every GCC account is UAE regulated.

Standard, Pro and Zero accounts

Condition Standard Pro Zero
Minimum deposit $25 $1,000 $2,500
EUR/USD average spread* 2.0 pips 1.5 pips 0.6 pips
Commission None None Individually agreed
Default leverage 1:100 1:100 1:100
Maximum on approval 1:500 1:500 1:200

*The website labels these EUR/USD figures as its previous-calendar-month averages, updated monthly from its own platform. They are broker-reported indications, not guaranteed spreads or independent measurements. All accounts have a stated 50% margin-call level and 20% stop-out level; leverage above 1:100 requires approval.

Standard is the lower-capital route to the same MT5 functionality. Pro's $1,000 threshold buys different pricing, not ownership of additional assets or a different regulatory guarantee. Zero requires $2,500 and a written commission quote before its cost can be compared properly.

The BrokersView account overview contains older Raw-account naming, higher leverage and an Islamic-account tag. The current official offering uses Zero, the leverage limits above, and a FAQ explicitly saying it does not offer swap-free or Islamic accounts. These are different sets of conditions, not interchangeable specifications.

Trading costs: when Zero beats Pro

For an illustrative EUR/USD trade of 100,000 euros in a USD account, one pip is $10. Using the published average spreads as assumptions, and excluding price movement, slippage and financing, the spread component of an opening-and-closing trade is $20 on Standard, $15 on Pro and $6 on Zero. Add the entire round-trip commission to Zero's $6; do not add the spread twice.

Zero is cheaper than Pro in this illustration only if its total commission is below $9 per standard-lot round trip. If the quote is per side, that means below $4.50 per side. At $9 total they tie; above it Pro is cheaper. A rate quoted per million must first be converted using the agreed notional-currency and one-way/round-trip convention.

Pro's illustrative saving against Standard is $5 per standard-lot round trip, or $0.05 at 0.01 lot. The extra $975 entry deposit is trading capital, not a fee that must be 'earned back'. The relevant question is whether the expected saving justifies committing that capital given the intended position sizes.

The gold table uses dollars per ounce, not forex pips: Standard 0.39, Pro 0.34 and Zero 0.18 are the broker's displayed monthly averages. Multiply by the position's actual ounce quantity and add any commission. For overnight positions, include the instrument's swap or funding rate as well. Futures CFDs have no overnight swap according to the FAQ, while perpetuals still carry funding payments.

The account FAQ says there is no dormancy fee, but agreement clause 12.6 reserves a dormancy charge under the contract specifications. That is not evidence that a particular fee is currently being collected. Obtain the applicable schedule before leaving an account unused.

MT5, automation and execution

Desktop, web and mobile MT5 are available across the three accounts. The product menu spans forex, metals, indices, commodities, futures CFDs, crypto CFDs and perpetuals. These are leveraged contracts, not delivery of gold, cryptocurrency or exchange-traded ownership simply because the underlying asset is named.

The FAQ permits scalping, grid and news strategies, with hedging as the default account mode and netting available on request. However, agreement clause 14 separates prohibited pricing/latency abuse from commercially unwanted order flow. High-frequency or very-short-duration trading can lead to restrictions or changed pricing; that does not by itself amount to an abuse finding or automatic cancellation of profits.

The agreement makes GCC the principal counterparty and distinguishes execution from risk management. Ordinary STP hedging does not mean every exposure must be passed through, or that counterparty conflicts disappear. An EA user should confirm acceptance of the actual strategy, rather than treating 'EA supported' as permission for every execution technique.

The advertised VPS subsidy requires a $2,500 balance and at least five standard lots a month, and is available across account types. It is therefore not a reason on its own to choose Zero. Trading extra volume solely to preserve a hosting subsidy can cost more than the service is worth.

Deposits and withdrawals

The official FAQ lists Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer, cryptocurrency, Binance Pay, Neteller, Skrill and Voucherry. Availability must be checked in the client portal for the particular customer. Deposits must come from a source in the customer's own name; withdrawals normally return by the original route.

The broker describes portal card, crypto and e-wallet deposits as instantly credited, while bank transfers are credited after receipt. It says withdrawal requests are typically processed within 24 hours, but recipient arrival depends on the payment method and verification. Processing time is not a promise that a bank account will receive money within one day.

GCC says it generally absorbs processing fees, with exceptions for disclosed payment-method costs and withdrawals without trading activity. The agreement also allows deferral for insufficient free margin, debts or compliance checks. Before funding, establish both the deposit route and the route for withdrawing profits; the lowest account minimum does not establish every payment channel's minimum.

Protection, support and customer feedback

The retail negative-balance policy offers an automatic adjustment capped at $100 per occurrence, subject to exclusions. It does not provide unlimited debt forgiveness: excess shortfalls remain payable, and abusive conduct, breach or fraud can remove protection. The agreement also states that neither contracting entity participates in an investor-compensation or deposit-guarantee scheme.

Client-money segregation is a separate contractual arrangement, not deposit insurance. A 20% stop-out is likewise a liquidation trigger, not a guaranteed exit price. These distinctions matter most when positions are held through gaps or other periods of limited liquidity.

The website advertises 24/5 live chat and lists support@gccbrokers.com and +971 4 549 0408. Its complaint policy provides acknowledgement within five business days and a final response within four weeks, extending to eight for complex cases with an explanation. These are policy commitments, not observed response-time results.

The five comments on the BrokersView feedback section include praise for support from Berenice and Sara Back, and criticism of regulatory transparency from Azura. They are individual accounts, not a representative service sample or a regulator's ruling. They do not establish a verified withdrawal-success rate or prove a specific unresolved nonpayment.

Verdict and frequently asked questions

GCC Brokers is most straightforward to evaluate as an MT5 account-pricing choice. Standard limits the initial capital requirement; Pro offers a clearer commission-free comparison; Zero needs a personalised commission calculation. Its payment range and automation support are useful features, but entity assignment and limited debit-balance protection remain material conditions, not footnotes.

Is Zero always the cheapest? No. On the stated EUR/USD illustration, its round-trip commission must be below $9 per standard lot to beat Pro. Different spreads, instruments and holding periods change the comparison.

Can $25 access all the account types? No. That is Standard's advertised entry deposit; Pro and Zero require $1,000 and $2,500 respectively. Margin requirements still determine what a funded account can trade.

Does the broker offer an Islamic account? Its current FAQ says no. A futures contract without an overnight swap is not automatically a swap-free account, and perpetual funding is a separate cost.

Are withdrawals guaranteed within 24 hours? No. That is the broker's typical request-processing statement. Payment transit, account margin and verification can affect completion.
