FXCentrum Review: Standard vs Scalping Accounts and Withdrawal Costs

FXCentrum at a glance

FXCentrum is WTG Ltd’s Seychelles-based trading brand, operating since 2019. Its main attraction is a low-entry Standard account with FXC Trader and copy trading. Its main complication is that the account allowing very short trades has a much higher deposit requirement and a different withdrawal tariff. A $10 opening threshold is therefore not a good description of the whole offering.

For UK residents, the regulatory warning comes first: the FCA named FXCentrum Broker on 5 December 2025, identifying fxcentrum.com and stating that the firm is not FCA-authorised. The FCA says customers would not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or FSCS protection for dealings with the firm. Seychelles authorisation does not replace UK permission.

The practical positives are access to a demo, small Standard positions, integrated copy trading and a separately identified scalping account. The limitations are equally concrete: a three-minute Standard holding rule, $10,000 entry for Scalping, conditional bonuses and inconsistent withdrawal disclosures. These are more useful selection criteria than the advertised maximum leverage.

Company, regulation and availability

The Seychelles FSA capital-markets register identifies WTG Ltd with the FXCentrum trade name and fxcentrum.com website. The company’s agreement identifies securities-dealer licence SD055. The Cyprus company GPBASEROCK Ltd is described as a payment agent; that role is not evidence that the trading account is regulated in Cyprus.

The website excludes residents of jurisdictions including the United States, Russia, Iran, Myanmar and Ukraine. It also reserves the right to reject applications or request additional documents from EU residents and several other locations, including Vietnam. The list is not an automatic approval for everyone elsewhere. A translated website or an available payment currency does not establish local service permission.

Standard and Scalping are different products

Feature Standard Margin Scalping
Minimum deposit $10 $10,000 USD/EUR
Maximum advertised leverage 1:1000; varies by instrument/profile 1:200
Holding time At least 3 minutes per position Short holding periods allowed
Copy trading Available Available
Margin top-up 100%; cap $100,000 50%; cap $10,000

Standard suits strategies whose positions can comply with a minimum 180-second holding period. That does not prohibit every intraday trade, but it does exclude a strategy that routinely exits within seconds. The product page says detected scalping can result in closure, the removal of profits and a 10% deduction from the returned amount. Copy trading being available does not exempt copied trades from the account rules.

Scalping explicitly permits short holding periods, but the $10,000 minimum makes it a different capital commitment, not a free setting on a $10 account. The shop’s older structured field shows $1,000; the current dedicated product page states $10,000 USD/EUR. Obtain the applicable offer in writing rather than treating the older field as an available price.

Trading costs and bonus credit

The broker advertises no trading commission, but spread, overnight financing and withdrawal charges remain distinct costs. The FAQ’s spread ‘from 0.3 pips’ is a minimum advertisement, not an average EUR/USD cost or a quotation available on every account. There is insufficient comparable average-spread data here to declare either account cheaper for the same trading schedule.

Standard advertises cashback up to $2 per $100,000 traded, versus $5 per $100,000 on Scalping. Do not subtract these from a round-trip cost without confirming how eligible turnover is counted. Scalping also advertises partial swap rebates tied to monthly deposits of $50,000 or $100,000; that is not a swap-free account or a reason to increase deposits by itself.

Standard’s 100% top-up is trading margin, capped at $100,000, not money that can be withdrawn. Scalping advertises 50% credit capped at $10,000. Its general rule removes the bonus when money is withdrawn, with specific test-withdrawal and referral exceptions. Removing credit can reduce available margin while positions remain open: the bonus percentage alone does not measure the account’s financial benefit.

Withdrawal fees: the account matters

The Standard page distinguishes profit-only withdrawals, advertised as free while the deposit remains, from withdrawals touching the deposit. For the latter, at least 30 days after first funding, it lists $20, reduced to $10 after feedback. A full-balance withdrawal before 30 days and before five trades have closed is listed at 10%. Those conditions should not be shortened to ‘all withdrawals cost 10%’.

Scalping lists Classic withdrawals at 5%, minimum $100. Its VIP tier lists 2.5%, minimum $50, conditional on verified KYC, proof of submitted reviews and a short questionnaire. A one-off $100 test withdrawal has a stated fee-and-bonus-deduction exception. A separate early full-balance rule mentions 30 days and 25 closed trades; profit-only withdrawals are exempt from that 10% rule, not expressly from every other withdrawal charge.

Withdrawal amount Classic: 5%, minimum $100 VIP: 2.5%, minimum $50
$1,000 $100 (10%) $50 (5%)
$2,000 $100 (5%) $50 (2.5%)
$10,000 $500 (5%) $250 (2.5%)

These examples apply the published percentage and minimum only, before any other applicable charge or conversion. Below $2,000, the minimum determines both listed Scalping fees. Frequent small withdrawals can therefore be materially more expensive than the percentage headline suggests. Do not assume an early-exit charge is added to these fees without confirmation of the applicable tariff.

Conflicting disclosures need a written answer

The general FAQ instead describes the first monthly withdrawal as free, the second at $10 and subsequent withdrawals at 2.5%. It states 24-hour processing, while the account pages state up to 48 hours on working days. The linked September 2024 terms reserve up to five working days and describe a 10% full-withdrawal charge within two calendar months of account opening. These are different conditions, not interchangeable descriptions of one fee.

Before funding, ask which dated tariff forms part of the chosen account agreement, whether withdrawal fees can combine, and how the early-exit condition applies. The account-specific pages provide more detailed scenarios, but their existence alone does not prove that conflicting contract provisions have been replaced. ‘Minutes’ is a conditional processing claim, not a measured bank-arrival time.

Platforms, markets and funding

FXC Trader is the available platform, with web and mobile access, copy trading and TradingView charting promoted on the website. MT5 is labelled ‘Very Soon’; it should not be treated as an available platform for an existing MT5 robot or workflow. A charting integration also does not by itself establish direct order routing from a separate TradingView account.

The offering spans forex, metals, oil, indices, shares and cryptocurrency exposure. Check each contract’s size, trading hours, financing and leverage in the platform; a share-labelled leveraged product is not automatically ownership of the underlying share. The demo is useful for checking navigation and available contracts, not for proving live execution quality.

The public pages display Visa, Mastercard, Korapay and Help2Pay, while the agreement discusses bank transfers and prohibits third-party deposits and withdrawals. Logos do not establish that every method supports both directions in every country. The payment options, currency conversion and any provider charge need to be checked for the actual account; older promotional lists of payment methods should not be assumed current.

Support and customer feedback

The registration guide requests identity documentation and proof of residence. Contact options include chat, a callback and an email form; the contact page states a working-day response target, not a proven service speed. Keep the account offer and fee answer with the transaction records, especially when relying on an exception.

Feedback on the FXCentrum shop is mixed. Franklin Howell praised support and withdrawals in June 2024, while Jesse Eze criticised withdrawal charges and spreads that month. These are individual accounts, not a representative average or evidence that every withdrawal succeeds or fails.

In complaint 150, dated November 2022, Douglas alleged that a $400 deposit grew to $1,181 but only $400 was returned. The visible record is marked replied and shows BrokersView requesting trading and withdrawal evidence. It does not establish a final adjudication, a later payment outcome or the reason for the disputed profit. The present three-minute rule should not be used to invent an explanation for that older case.

Verdict and common questions

FXCentrum offers a low-cost entry threshold and a relatively self-contained platform, but that does not make every account low-cost to use or exit. Standard may fit eligible traders whose strategy respects the holding-time restriction. Scalping removes that particular restriction at the price of a higher entry requirement and significant listed withdrawal charges. Neither is a clear fit for someone needing MT5 immediately or relying on a simple, uniform withdrawal tariff.

Is FXCentrum regulated? WTG Ltd appears in the Seychelles FSA register; that must be distinguished from the FCA warning and the absence of UK authorisation.

Can I start scalping with $10? Not under the published Standard conditions. The dedicated Scalping account states a $10,000 USD/EUR minimum.

Does zero commission mean free withdrawals? No. Trading commission and withdrawal charges are different. The account pages list conditions and fees that also conflict with the general FAQ.

Can I withdraw the deposit bonus? Standard explicitly identifies it as trading margin rather than withdrawable cash. On Scalping, a withdrawal can also remove bonus credit, subject to stated exceptions.
