CNMV Warns of 12 Clone Investment Firms and Websites

Spain’s CNMV has issued warnings against 12 entities and websites dated August 31, 2026, including several entities identified as clone firms. The regulator said these entities are not registered with the CNMV and are not authorised to provide investment services or other activities subject to its supervision.

Among the latest warnings are IBROKERGM, OLYMPUSCAPITAL, SOLLVENTIS, ASEVIAVENTURE, MY.NEXT-CAP.PRO and GPBFINANCIALSERVICES.EU. CNMV specifically stated that these entities have no relationship with legitimate registered firms using similar names.

For example, IBROKERGM.COM was identified as a clone unrelated to IBROKER GLOBAL MARKETS, S.V., S.A., which is registered in Spain under No. 260. Similarly, SOLLVENTIS.COM, SOLLVENTIS.NET and a related webtrader domain were described as unrelated to Solventis, SV, S.A., registered under No. 244.

Latest CNMV Warning List

The August 31 list also includes GARLENIX, TIBIPRO, ZENTRIX, MY.AIPLTFRM.COM, LIFE FINANCIAL TIME and BLUEBERRY CAPITAL. CNMV noted that GARLENIX is a commercial name operating through several websites.

The regulator also warned about OLYMPUS CAPITAL LIMITED, which it said is unrelated to Olympus Equity Europe, an investment fund registered under No. 5,795. ASEVIAVENTURE was likewise identified as unrelated to Asevia Technology Ventures, registered as a European venture capital fund under No. 255.

What Investors Should Check

For investors comparing a regulated investment platform, a low-spread broker or an MT5 trading platform, checking the legal entity is essential. A website using the name, branding or details of a legitimate financial firm does not necessarily belong to that firm.

CNMV’s latest warnings underline the importance of checking both the company name and website domain before depositing funds or opening an investment account.
