Australian retail FX and CFDs broker Blueberry has named Ghaith Alghatas as its new Head of Partners for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Based in Cyprus, Alghatas joins the company as it steps up its regional expansion efforts.
He moves to Blueberry from Pepperstone, where he worked as Senior Partners Manager in Limassol. Before that, he spent nearly three years at IC Markets, progressing from Partner Manager to Team Leader of the Partners Department, overseeing KPI monitoring, IB operations, performance reporting, and partner-related compliance processes.
Earlier in his career, Alghatas held business development and account management roles at SquaredFinancial and Windsor Brokers, along with stints at firms including FxPro, London Capital Group, and Alvexo. His background spans partner acquisition, affiliate management, onboarding, and regional sales strategy across the FX and CFD sector.
At Blueberry, he will focus on expanding the broker’s partner network across MENA, negotiating agreements, monitoring performance, and strengthening relationships with introducing brokers and affiliates in the region.
The appointment follows other recent senior hires tied to Blueberry’s regional push, including Magdy Mohamed, who joined earlier this month as Head of Marketing for MENA. The broker, founded in 2016 by CEO Dean Hyde, has been broadening its international footprint beyond Australia, with growing activity in Europe and offshore markets.
With Alghatas now leading partnerships in MENA, Blueberry appears to be building out the commercial side of its expansion strategy in the region.
