ACY Securities offers a genuine choice between spread-only and commission-based CFD accounts, alongside MT4, MT5 and its own trading platform. Its main appeal is the ability to choose a pricing structure and product range around a trading strategy: a small initial deposit through Basic, separate spread and commission through ProZero, or Standard for futures CFDs without an overnight swap charge. These are different uses, not simply progressively better account tiers.
The qualification is equally important. The ACY Securities broker profile covers a brand used by several companies, while a customer's rights depend on the actual contracting company. In particular, the international LLC's published loss-liability terms do not align with the negative-balance-protection claim on account marketing pages. That issue deserves resolution before funding an LLC account, regardless of the quoted spread. US residents are excluded under ACY's published support policy; a translated website or local payment option does not establish eligibility elsewhere.
| Useful feature | Important limitation |
|---|---|
| Spread-only and separate-commission options | A lower minimum spread does not prove a lower all-in cost |
| MT4, MT5 and a proprietary platform | Products and leverage differ by platform and entity |
| Several USD50 deposit routes | Account minimums and regional eligibility still apply |
| Standard futures CFDs without overnight swap | Quarterly expiry; no automatic rollover |
| Australian entity with identifiable ASIC permissions | Those permissions do not automatically cover the international LLC |
ASIC's September 2026 AFS licensee register lists ACY Securities Pty Ltd under licence 403863, including retail and wholesale derivatives and foreign-exchange permissions and market making. This is a meaningful distinction from a company-registration number, but it belongs to that Australian legal entity—not automatically to every account opened under the ACY brand.
| Company | Evidence and scope | Account-selection implication |
|---|---|---|
| ACY Securities Pty Ltd, Australia | ASIC 403863; retail/wholesale derivatives and FX scope in September 2026 register | Australian service disclosures target Australian residents/businesses; do not export its protections to another entity |
| ACY Capital LLC, St Vincent and the Grenadines | Company 2610 LLC 2022; issuer named in international contract | SVG company registration is not an SVG forex-broker licence; this is a separate contractual counterparty |
| ACY Securities SA Pty Ltd, South Africa | Website declares FSCA 51008 | The disclosed number alone does not establish every product permission or the issuer behind a particular CFD |
There is a material disclosure conflict for the LLC: Basic and Standard marketing pages advertise negative balance protection, yet the LLC's April 2026 Key Information Statement, sections 1.3 and 3.4, allows additional liability and recovery of a negative balance. An unqualified promise that an international client cannot lose more than the deposit is therefore not supported by the documents. A final agreement or explicit applicable protection term needs to settle that discrepancy.
The LLC agreement also describes ACY as the principal and market-making counterparty, with the ability to hedge its exposure. Liquidity-provider access should not be read as a promise that the customer trades directly on an exchange or that every order is externally hedged. Separately, the BrokersView profile records warnings from the AMF, NSSMC, Malaysia SC and Spain's CNMV; these concern jurisdictional permissions and should not be erased by citing an Australian licence or treated as proof that every group entity lacks authorisation.
The international account pages and ACY's account FAQ distinguish the following initial funding thresholds. The figures are account entry requirements, not a claim that every payment route accepts that amount. Bespoke is a separately quoted arrangement in the FAQ, rather than a published commission discount that every large account automatically receives.
| Account | Initial minimum | Published commission basis | Main decision |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | USD50 | Zero for listed forex/metals/index/crypto categories | Lowest initial account threshold |
| Standard | USD100 | Zero for the same listed categories | Compare effective spreads; required for futures CFDs |
| ProZero | USD200 | USD6 per standard lot round turn on a USD account for forex/metals | Compare spread saving against the commission |
| Bespoke | USD20,000 in account FAQ | Individually quoted | A larger deposit is not proof of better net value |
Basic's clearest advantage is the lower entry threshold. Standard becomes more relevant when its actual spread or its futures-CFD access suits the intended instruments. ProZero makes the commission explicit, but a zero minimum advertised spread is not a zero total trading cost. The published Basic/Standard zero-commission categories cover forex, metals, indices and crypto; share CFDs have separate charges.
Older account names and thresholds still appear in broker databases and older language pages. They should not override the current account offer. Australian-only historical commission promotions are also a different scope from the international USD6 round-turn schedule used below.
For an international USD-denominated ProZero account, the account FAQ specifies USD6 per standard lot round turn: opening and closing together, not USD6 on each side. Its AUD account figure is AUD8.50. The account landing page's starting commission of USD3 per side is consistent with USD6 round turn. A forex product page also advertises USD2.50 per side without clearly explaining the qualifying arrangement; that lower headline should not replace the explicit account quotation without confirmation.
A reproducible comparison is more useful than declaring one account cheaper for all traders. Assume one standard lot of EUR/USD is EUR100,000 and one pip is 0.0001, giving USD10 per pip. Let S be the effective spread on a spread-only account and Z the effective ProZero spread, both in pips. Excluding overnight financing, slippage and currency conversion, spread-only cost is 10 × S dollars and ProZero cost is 10 × Z + 6 dollars.
The break-even spread difference is 0.6 pip. ProZero wins on those two cost components only when the spread-only account's effective spread exceeds ProZero's by more than 0.6 pip. For illustration—not a measured or average quote—1.0 pip on Standard costs USD10, while 0.2 pip plus USD6 on ProZero costs USD8. Trading frequency magnifies either saving or disadvantage; it does not determine which account is cheaper.
For positions held overnight, add the actual symbol's financing rather than extrapolating from the entry spread. For share CFDs, the public comparison displays ASX commission of 0.08% and US share commission of USD0.02 per share, but does not fully specify minimum charges and the charging-side convention in that table. Obtain the symbol schedule before turning those headlines into a round-trip estimate. ACY's ASX data FAQ additionally specifies AUD22 for a calendar month in which live ASX data is accessed—a cost that matters more to occasional share-CFD users than to a forex-only account.
MT4 is the natural starting point for an existing MT4 strategy or EA workflow. MT5 is the relevant route for ACY's global share CFDs and a broader multi-asset list. The broker advertises more than 110 CFDs for MT4 and more than 2,200 for MT5; the larger number should not be attached to every platform or every account. Share CFDs provide price exposure, not ownership of the underlying shares or ordinary shareholder voting rights.
The proprietary ACY Trading Platform is a separate option. The advertised maximum of 1:5,000 is explicitly tied to that platform, while the MetaTrader ProZero description refers to up to 1:500. Neither is an Australian-retail-wide entitlement or a fixed setting for all instruments. Platform-specific dynamic margin and guaranteed-stop features should likewise not be projected onto every MT4 or MT5 order.
Futures CFDs are a distinctive Standard-account feature. ACY states that they carry no overnight swap and expire quarterly without automatic rollover. A trader wanting to maintain exposure must open the following contract, with its own price and spread. That can suit a defined contract horizon, but it is not cost-free perpetual exposure and it is not ownership of an exchange-traded futures contract.
ACY's LLC swap-free schedule uses Standard-account spreads, requires Islamic-faith eligibility and excludes shares from swap-free treatment. Once a position has been held for more than four days, daily administration charges apply; Wednesday carries a triple charge. The document lists EUR/USD as a forex major at USD12.50 per lot per chargeable day: USD12.50 on a normal chargeable day and USD37.50 on a chargeable Wednesday.
This changes the choice for multi-day holdings. A trader comparing a normal swap account with swap-free Standard needs the intended holding period and symbol-specific charge, not merely the label 'Islamic'. Symbol classifications in the fee file also matter: do not apply a familiar market category to a symbol if the broker places it in a different charging category.
ACY's payment table is an input-funding table: its minimum and maximum columns describe deposits, not withdrawal limits. It lists cards, bank transfers, regional payment services, e-wallets and crypto routes. Selected grouped entries below retain low-threshold alternatives as well as higher-threshold channels. These advertised regions and currencies describe payment availability, not a finding that every resident may legally open an account.
| Route / advertised area | Deposit minimum | Currency or scope note |
|---|---|---|
| Visa/Master; bank wire; Skrill; Neteller | USD50 | Multiple currencies; Neteller lists USD/EUR |
| PayTrust / Indonesia and Vietnam | USD50 | IDR/VND |
| FPX / Malaysia; DragonPay / Philippines | USD50 | MYR/PHP respectively |
| South Africa local; Africa local; Gatetopay / Middle East | USD50 | ZAR; NGN/KES/GHS; JOD/USD respectively |
| China Union Pay 4 / 5 / 6 | USD1,000 / 1,400 / 100 | CNY payment; three distinct routes |
| Ali Pay; QR Code Pay / China | USD150; USD100 | CNY payment |
| Visa/Master-JPY / Japan | JPY500 | Account initial requirement still applies |
| Generic crypto deposit-only row; USDC BEP-20 | USD50 | Crypto entries exclude Australia in the payment table |
| Separate USDT TRC-20; ERC-20 rows | USD200; USD1,000 | Do not confuse with the generic deposit-only row |
The practical first-deposit threshold is at least the higher of the account minimum and the selected payment-route minimum. Thus a USD50 card route can meet Basic's USD50 threshold, but not Standard's USD100 or ProZero's USD200 requirement. A separately listed USDT ERC-20 route starts at USD1,000. The table also contains a generic crypto deposit-only row starting at USD50; it must not be silently substituted for the separate ERC-20 or TRC-20 routes.
ACY lists no broker deposit charge in this table, but banks, payment providers, currency conversion and blockchain networks can still add costs. Bank-wire deposit processing is shown as 1–7 working days; this is not a withdrawal promise. A May 26, 2026 company notice discontinued bitwallet deposits and withdrawals, despite its continuing appearance in some older material.
ACY's withdrawal-fee FAQ allows five free withdrawals per calendar month. From the sixth, it charges 25 in the account's base currency for each withdrawal; the allowance resets in a new calendar month. A USD account making seven qualifying withdrawals in one month therefore incurs USD50 in ACY charges, before any external costs. That is different from charging every withdrawal USD25, and different from the older three-free-withdrawals wording still found elsewhere.
The processing FAQ states that requests received before 21:00 AEST are processed that day, with later requests handled on the next business day. Processing is not arrival in the receiving account. Credit-card withdrawals also require an earlier card deposit and are limited to the amount originally deposited by that method; profits need another approved route rather than an assumed unlimited card refund.
The advertised instant-USDT service is conditional: eligible requests are capped at 30% of account equity, one request per 24 hours and USD5,000 per day, with the actual instant allowance displayed in the portal. An eligible USD10,000-equity account therefore has a theoretical USD3,000 cap before other restrictions, not USD5,000 automatically. Excess requests enter the standard manual process. The crypto-withdrawal help page requires a margin level of at least 150% when submitting an instant or manual request. None of these figures is a guarantee that any client or blockchain transfer will settle immediately.
The account portal is used for funding and withdrawal requests; published contact details include support@acy.com and +61 2 9188 2999. Before moving an existing strategy, establish the exact entity, platform, account currency, intended symbols and current payment options. Approval time, local-language service hours and an individual's final onboarding route should not be inferred from the availability of an application page.
ACY's help centre says scalping and hedging are allowed on MT4/MT5. The LLC agreement nevertheless addresses practices involving quote or execution manipulation, latency or price/time abuse for an unfair advantage, and specified multi-account hedging around opening gaps. Those triggers are not a blanket ban on ordinary short-term trading, every EA or all hedging. A strategy whose operation touches those clauses needs a clear written description and confirmation of the applicable terms.
The same agreement provides for withdrawals of free balance, while allowing retention in specified circumstances such as required funds, legal withholding or AML restrictions. It also contains client-money separation provisions, including retail-specific limits on using funds for the firm's own capital or hedging. Separation should not be confused with a guarantee of immediate payment or a state-backed compensation entitlement.
The dated feedback on BrokersView is mixed. Reviews dated September 18 and July 29, 2025 praise support and personal assistance. Other reviews dated October 22 and November 17, 2025 report platform problems during volatility, slow withdrawals or generic responses. These are individual experiences, not controlled measurements of execution speed or the likelihood of a successful withdrawal.
A more specific record is Yogesh's January 19, 2026 complaint, displaying a USD40,085.19 claim and a Processing status. He alleges that trading profits were deducted following a trading-rule dispute and contests the broker's explanation. The displayed case does not establish a regulator's finding or a verified final recovery. Later reports repeat this same dispute; they are not additional independent cases or proof of today's unpaid balance.
A September 4, 2026 shop review separately alleges account termination and profit cancellation involving cross-platform-hedging provisions. The September 7 reply invites a formal complaint with evidence and is from BrokersView, not an ACY resolution. Together these records make record-keeping and the precise disputed clause relevant to account selection, without establishing that every strategy or withdrawal encounters the same outcome.
ACY has identifiable uses: Basic for a lower initial threshold, ProZero when its effective spread saving covers the commission, MT5 for share-CFD access, and Standard futures CFDs for exposure with a defined expiry and no overnight swap. Its range of funding routes also means a high minimum on one crypto channel does not represent the entire service.
The main reservation is not simply that leveraged trading is risky. It is the gap between some account marketing and the LLC's loss-liability terms, plus entity-specific permissions and concrete unresolved customer disputes. Anyone requiring an unconditional cap on loss to deposited funds needs that conflict resolved in the applicable agreement. For other users, ACY belongs on a comparison list based on the exact account, instrument and payment path—not on the group's strongest licence, the lowest possible spread or the largest advertised leverage.
Is every ACY account regulated by ASIC? No. ASIC 403863 belongs to ACY Securities Pty Ltd. The international disclosures also identify a separate SVG LLC and a South African entity. The company named in the agreement determines which framework applies.
Is ProZero always cheaper than Standard? No. In the stated USD6 round-turn EUR/USD example, a 0.6-pip lower effective spread exactly offsets the commission; a larger saving makes ProZero cheaper on spread plus commission. Financing and other costs can change the overall result.
Can I open every ACY account with USD50? No. Basic is quoted at USD50, Standard at USD100 and ProZero at USD200. A payment route may impose a higher minimum.
Are withdrawals free? Five per calendar month are free of the stated ACY withdrawal charge; later withdrawals cost 25 in the base currency. Bank, provider or network costs may still apply.
Does swap-free remove all holding costs? No. The LLC schedule applies administration charges after more than four days and triples the charge on Wednesday. Shares are excluded from that swap-free offering.
