ActivTrades Dominates Trading Speed Rankings in BrokersView's November Assessment
We always encounter Forex traders expressing their grievances about issues such as stuck orders and slippage. These two conditions are primarily attributed to the speed of the broker's servers, commonly referred to as the "trading speed". The November BV Assessment data has recently been published, shedding light on the performance of 19 brokers in terms of trading speed.
(Note: The following data is based on EURUSD trading and is expressed in "milliseconds".)
BV Trading Speed Ranking·Singapore
NO.1: EightCap, with an average trading speed of 216 ms and the fastest trade of the month at 132 ms.
NO.2: ActivTrades, with an average trading speed of 218 ms.
NO.3: Swissquote, with an average trading speed of 238 ms.
Compared to October, there were noticeable improvements in the speed of each broker, with an average decrease of a few tens of milliseconds. Despite these changes, the top three rankings remained unchanged.
Among the 19 brokers, Avatrade emerged as the slowest platform, with an average trading speed of 690 milliseconds, which is considerably slower than the industry average.
BV Trading Speed Ranking·Dubai
NO.1: ActivTrades, with an average trading speed of 179 ms and the fastest trade of the month at 142 ms.
NO.2: FXCM, with an average trading speed of 248 ms.
NO.3: Forex.com, with an average trading speed of 307 ms.
Both FXCM and Forex.com have made their way into the top 3 of the Dubai trading speed rankings for the first time. The slowest brokers in the Dubai list were identified as Doo Prime, with an average trading speed of 651 milliseconds, followed closely by Avatrade with an average trading speed of 643 milliseconds.
BV Trading Speed Ranking·Frankfurt
NO.1: ActivTrades, with an average trading speed of 42 ms and the fastest trade of the month at 28 ms.
NO.2: Forex.com, with an average trading speed of 95 ms and a best trading speed of 32 ms.
NO.3: Swissquote, with an average speed of 116 ms.
These three platforms have maintained their position as the fastest brokers in Frankfurt for the second consecutive month. Furthermore, all three of them have shown a slight improvement in their trading speed during the month of November. Doo Prime and VT Markets were the slowest brokers in Frankfurt. Doo Prime recorded an average trading speed of 596 milliseconds, closely followed by VT Markets with an average trading speed of 598 milliseconds.
Comprehensive Review:
When considering trading speed across Singapore, Dubai, and Frankfurt, ActivTrades emerged as the top-performing platform in terms of speed. Following closely behind were Forex.com and Swissquote, which also exhibited commendable trading speed.
Interestingly, it is worth noting that most platforms tended to have slower trading speeds in Singapore compared to the other two sites.
