8 Months, $7,872 Frozen: Axi Client Exposes Endless Document Loop and Zero Withdrawal

8 hours ago BrokersView

Previously, we reported on cases involving Axi withdrawal disputes. Recently, a client of Axi has reported encountering a prolonged delay in withdrawals, claiming that despite multiple attempts to complete the broker's verification process, the funds in their trading account remain inaccessible for approximately eight months.

According to the investor, he has been unable to withdraw his Axi trading account balance since December 9, 2025. The client stated that his current account balance stands at approximately USD 7,872, but his withdrawal request has yet to be processed.

The investor said that during the past several months, he has repeatedly submitted the documents requested by Axi. However, he alleged that the broker continued to ask him to provide the same documents again and again, resulting in what he described as a “repeated verification cycle” without a clear resolution.

“All of the documents I submitted are valid and complete, yet the broker continues to ask me to provide them again without giving any clear explanation,” the investor said.

The client believes that the repeated document requests have unnecessarily delayed the withdrawal process and prevented him from accessing his funds.

At present, the investor’s claims remain allegations, and there is no public information confirming the reasons behind the delayed withdrawal or whether Axi has completed its internal review. BrokersView has contacted Axi for comment regarding the matter and will update this article if further information becomes available.

The Regulatory Question

Axi prominently markets itself as a regulated broker. According to its website, Axi is "authorised and regulated by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC), AFSL number 318232" and "authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Reference Number 509746".

Yet the reality is more complex. Many of the complaints documented above involve accounts registered under AxiTrader LLC, which is incorporated in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines – an offshore jurisdiction with significantly weaker investor protections. This offshore regulatory structure places clients beyond the reach of strict oversight and makes维权 (rights protection) considerably more difficult.

When a regulated broker engages in practices like endless document cycling, repeated withdrawal delays, and account freezes, it raises serious questions about regulatory compliance and good faith conduct.

Withdrawal delays and prolonged verification procedures are among the common complaints raised by retail traders in the online trading industry.
