Throughout the “investment” process, the victim initiated ten transfers to nine different bank accounts of the scammers, amounting to over RM300,000.
The local police reminded the public to do proper and thorough research before engaging in any online investment activities to avoid becoming a victim of fraud and not to be easily influenced by investment schemes that promise lucrative returns.
