Can a-trade.com be trusted?

Any warnings out for this broker? I invested there and my funds quickly increased but I was suspicious because "A Trade is authorized and regulated under the European Financial Security with reference number 243961".

I consequently withdrew my funds. The trader, Eddie Mendez was very helpful, but still, I smell something fishy. The trader claims that he mostly deals with clients investing $100k or more so why does he bother trading with my $500 investment? He made 3 forex trades, all 3 quite lucrative. I don't want to lose my money.
