London-based FX and CFDs brokerage operator Zeal Group has appointed Ahmed Pasha as its new Global Head of Risk and Trading, adding another senior figure to its management team following a period of organizational changes.
Pasha joins Zeal Group after a seven-year tenure at Equiti Group’s UK arm, Equiti Capital, where he most recently served as Head of Trading Analytics before departing in mid-2024. His industry experience also includes previous roles at GKFX (now Trive) and One Financial Markets.
The appointment comes after a period of transition for the group. In the second half of 2024, Zeal Group and its Traze brand saw the departure of CEO Erkin Kamran. The company subsequently hired longtime ICM executive Wassim Anastasiou as Regional Director for MENA, based in Dubai.
Zeal Group operates the Traze online trading brand, which is primarily run from Dubai. The group holds a UAE CMA Category One license, a South Africa FSCA license, and an FCA license in the UK under the ZFX brand. It also operates an offshore entity in Seychelles.
