A user shared the screenshot of a job offer on BrokersView and said the job was a trap. It seems that staff from "ByteDance", the parent company of Tiktok, was inviting the user to work with them.
The user was interested in the job, clicked the link attached, and contacted the receptionist Mark. The receptionist told her that she needed to follow the YouTube channels and send screenshots to staff members for confirmation, which seemed like a simple task.
The user got paid by completing the test tasks. And she was invited to a VIP group to do more tasks. However, a staff, calling himself Leong, notified the group that everyone needed to pay a fee in advance to ensure their wage would be smoothly withdrawn, and "thoughtfully" offered a few options for different amounts. Once the group members saw the notice, they immediately started discussing which amount to choose without anyone's doubt about it.

In order to get paid, the user did what she was told and deposited money at Fortune Miix (https://fortunemiix.com, now defunct). Strangely, the site appeared to be a cryptocurrency trading platform, and while the fund deposited by the user did show up in the account balance, it was hard to see how it had anything to do with the wage.

In the end, users were neither paid nor able to retrieve the fees deposited with Fortune Miix. To add to the frustration, the Fortune Miix's website was also inaccessible.
BrokersView reminds you
Fortune Miix is an illegal crypto trading platform and is not owned by ByteDance.
What's more, it's always possible for everyone to fall into an investment scam without intending to invest.
In this scam, the scammer pretends to send a job offer from a well-known business to attract victims, uses the wage as a pretext to lure the victims to deposit money on the illegal trading platform, and finally rugpulls with the whole website, leaving the victims with no way to protect their rights.
Moreover, legitimate enterprises will not charge job seekers fees, and it is even more unlikely that they will ask for investment on the pretext of wages.
