A New Zealand resident reported being unable to withdraw funds after investing through Galaxygoldtraders.com. The individual was first asked to pay release fees, only to be met with additional “tax payment” demands after complying. Despite completing these steps, no funds were released, and the account was frozen, raising serious concerns of fraudulent practices.
The FMA highlighted that Galaxygoldtraders.com shares nearly identical website structure, content, and text with Defi.qtnimint.top, a site previously flagged by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA).

The FSA has warned that Qtum (SC) Ltd, the operator of Defi.qtnimint.top, is falsely claiming to be licensed in Seychelles.
BrokersView found that Tmgmllc.com is misusing the logo of legitimate broker TMGM, potentially misleading investors into believing it is affiliated with the established firm.
Given the overlap in website layout and licensing claims, the FMA expressed deep concern that Galaxygoldtraders.com and its associated domains may be engaging in false or misleading representations to extract payments from victims.
In a recent alert, the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) identified multiple duplicate websites linked to fraudulent investment schemes, actively promoted by scammers via unsolicited phone calls.
If you suspect a website is fraudulent or have fallen victim to a financial scam, you can Submit a Complaint to BrokersView.
