Malta Regulator Warns Clone Entity S9 Crypto Ltd
On October 2 the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) issued a warning that forex company S9 Crypto Ltd is a clone entity.
The MFSA found that S9 Crypto Ltd is trying to deceive the public by using details of the licensed company Alchemy Markets Ltd on its website (https://s9cryptotrade.com).
The regulator reminded that S9 Crypto Ltd is not a Maltese registered company and is not authorized to provide financial services in the region. And the company is not related to the legitimate company Alchemy Markets Ltd.
S9 Crypto Ltd is clearly a clone of a legitimate company's website and members of the public are advised to avoid dealing with, and transferring money to, bogus entities.
At the same time, the MFSA compared the details of the cloned entity with the legitimate company from which it was stolen.
