INFINOX Review: Which Entity Holds Your Money, and What Does Trading Really Cost?

INFINOX: a familiar platform does not mean identical protection

INFINOX can appeal to traders who want MetaTrader, a choice between spread-only and commission-based pricing, and copy-trading tools. The harder question is whether the company on the account agreement, the complete fee schedule and the withdrawal rules fit the way you actually trade. An established brand can operate regulated and unregulated companies side by side. Their protections do not become interchangeable because the login screen looks similar.

Our assessment is conditional: INFINOX deserves consideration by experienced, eligible CFD traders who can identify their contracting entity and verify account-specific costs. It is a weaker fit for anyone seeking a simple, uniform protection package or assuming that the group’s UK licence covers an overseas retail account. The INFINOX broker profile brings together the brand’s regulatory records and user feedback; the account agreement still determines which company owes the customer contractual obligations.

Start with the legal entity, not the licence logo

The global website identifies INFINOX Limited in Mauritius under FSC investment-dealer licence GB20025832. It separately identifies INFINOX Global Limited, incorporated in Anguilla as A000001246, and explicitly describes that route as unregulated. That distinction changes the framework for supervision and disputes; company registration is not a brokerage licence.

INFINOX Capital Limited is the separate UK firm associated with FCA reference 501057. Its UK website states that it does not offer trading services to retail clients. Consequently, “the brand has an FCA company” is not an answer to whether a particular international retail account has UK protection.

Two other names require care. The UAE company, Infinox Financial Consultants L.L.C S.O.C, is disclosed as a Category 5 marketing and introducing entity. INFINOX Services EU Limited in Cyprus is described as a payment-processing and support company. An introducer’s permission or a payment company’s registration does not establish investment protection for the company issuing your CFD.

Before sending money, compare the legal name in the agreement, the account-opening confirmation and the funding instructions. If these name different companies, ask for a written explanation of their roles. A payment intermediary may be legitimate, but it must not be confused with the broker responsible for execution and withdrawals. Also check eligibility by residence: the availability of a translated website is not permission to serve every country.

Protection claims and the FCA penalty need the right context

Segregation, negative-balance protection and private insurance address different problems. Segregation concerns how client money is held; it does not insure market losses. Negative-balance protection, where contractually applicable, concerns liability below zero, not preservation of the deposit. Private insurance depends on the named insured, eligible clients, covered event, exclusions and limits. It must not be presented as automatic compensation for an unsuccessful trade or a routine delayed withdrawal.

The FCA’s January 2025 final notice fined UK entity INFINOX Capital Limited £99,200 over 46,053 missing transaction reports. This is relevant evidence of a compliance failure, not a finding that every INFINOX withdrawal is unsafe or that another group company committed fraud. Equally, a licence alone is not proof of an unblemished compliance record.

The sensible test is therefore not “how many licences are displayed?” It is “which safeguards are enforceable against my contracting company, and where would a complaint go?” Do not transfer a UK compensation entitlement to a Mauritius or Anguilla agreement without a legal basis.

STP versus ECN: find the commission break-even point

The current global comparison advertises major-FX spreads from 0.9 pip on STP and from 0.2 pip on ECN. STP is presented as spread-based pricing without a separate trading commission; ECN adds commission. These are starting spreads, not average executable quotes. The current comparison does not give one universal numeric ECN commission applicable to every entity and account setup.

For EUR/USD in a USD account, one standard lot of 100,000 EUR has a pip value of about $10. Using the advertised starting spreads only as an illustration, STP would cost $9 in spread and ECN $2 plus the full round-trip commission. The difference is $7: at that spread gap, ECN is cheaper only if its total opening-and-closing commission is below $7 per standard lot, before slippage and other costs.

If a fee quote is “$3.50 per side”, the round trip is $7, not $3.50. If live spreads are 1.3 and 0.4 pip instead, the break-even commission becomes $9. This is why past commission figures or a “raw spread” label are poor substitutes for the actual quote. For ten identical round trips, multiply the respective total costs by ten; frequent trading magnifies a small difference without making the strategy profitable.

A swing trader also needs overnight financing, the applicable rollover calendar and currency conversion. Swap-free eligibility does not automatically mean cost-free holding: the account page allows administrative charges on some instruments. For gold, calculate with the exact contract size and quote increment rather than borrowing the EUR/USD pip value. The relevant comparison is the total cost of your strategy, not the smallest number on an account card.

Withdrawal fees: the public explanations do not fully agree

The global withdrawal FAQ says one withdrawal each month has its processing cost covered, followed by a $15 charge for further bank-wire, Skrill or Neteller withdrawals in that month. A separate bank-transfer help article says $15 for every wire withdrawal. Both exclude intermediary-bank charges. This inconsistency matters: the first wire should not be described as unconditionally free until the applicable account and payment route are confirmed.

A $15 charge is 7.5% of a $200 withdrawal but 0.75% of $2,000, before conversion or other bank costs. Four qualifying withdrawals in a month would incur $45 under the first-free rule, compared with $60 if every one attracted the charge. These are arithmetic scenarios, not a quotation for your account. Ask support which schedule governs, retain the answer and compare it with the fee shown before submission.

Timing has two separate stages. The FAQ describes internal processing within 24 hours, followed by receipt that may take up to five business days. An approved request is therefore not the same as settled cash. Return-to-source rules generally apply to the deposited principal, and the destination must be in the client’s own name. Complete identity and payment verification before relying on a withdrawal for an urgent payment.

If a transfer is late, record the request time, approval time, amount and payment route. First establish whether it is still with the broker or already in the banking chain. Ask for a payment reference or trace once dispatched, and use a written complaint if the explanation remains unresolved. A delay by itself does not prove misconduct, but unexplained delays should not be dismissed either.

High leverage and withdrawals interact

INFINOX’s global leverage framework scales margin with exposure. Its dynamic-leverage explanation says the lower leverage applies to the incremental volume entering a higher tier, rather than automatically repricing the entire position. Instrument limits and the account’s own maximum can still impose a lower cap. “Up to 1:1000” is not the leverage of every position.

Consider a hypothetical account with $1,000 equity and $400 used margin. Its margin level is 250%. Withdrawing $500, assuming unchanged positions, prices and required margin, leaves $500 equity and a margin level of 125%. The trade has not changed size, but its buffer against loss has halved. This example does not assume a particular INFINOX stop-out threshold: verify the threshold on the actual account.

Small initial margin also says little about tolerable loss. At 1:1000, $100,000 of exposure requires only $100 initial margin in a simplified example, yet a 0.1% adverse move represents $100 before costs. Margin is a security requirement, not a maximum-loss budget. Avoid combining a cash withdrawal with already stretched open exposure.

Platforms and user feedback: useful, but not a safety certificate

Both STP and ECN support MT4 and MT5. The account comparison restricts stocks and ETFs to MT5. Existing Expert Advisor users should check code compatibility, symbol names, contract sizes and server settings before moving a strategy. A familiar interface is a practical benefit, but it does not establish execution quality in thin liquidity or during news.

IX Social adds a copy-trading route. Evaluate a provider’s equity drawdown, open losses, leverage, concentration and fees, not just the displayed return. Several copied strategies holding the same currency exposure can be one concentrated risk in disguise. A follower may also receive different execution prices from the provider.

Recent comments on the BrokersView INFINOX profile include positive experiences with support, platforms and withdrawals. Older feedback also raises spread concerns. These are individual accounts of service, not audited evidence of universal payout reliability. Hearsay about another customer should not be promoted into a verified complaint pattern. For any alleged problem, the legal entity, transaction records and broker response are more informative than the star score alone.

Who is INFINOX most likely to suit?

Potential strengths: established MetaTrader workflows; two distinct pricing models; an identifiable Mauritius-regulated route; MT5 access to a broader set of instruments; and copy-trading functionality for users who understand its additional risks. These are practical capabilities, not a recommendation to use maximum leverage.

Main reservations: materially different regulated and unregulated contracting routes; no single current ECN commission suitable for every account; inconsistent public withdrawal-fee wording; and leverage or copying that can expose a small balance to disproportionate losses.

An experienced trader can make an informed comparison after obtaining the precise contract and cost schedule. A beginner who needs a simple, predictable protection framework should be more cautious. Before committing substantial funds, resolve the entity, round-trip commission, holding fees, withdrawal tariff and complaint route in writing. INFINOX’s appeal rests on usable tools and account flexibility; its suitability rests on details that a brand-level rating cannot settle. Leveraged CFDs can result in loss of the entire deposit.
