iFOREX Appoints Michael Hewson as Senior Financial Strategist

iFOREX has appointed Michael Hewson as Senior Financial Strategist (Senior Market Analyst), bringing on board a veteran market commentator with more than three decades of experience across global financial markets.

Based in Limassol, Hewson will deliver market analysis to the broker’s global client base while also contributing to the development of educational content aimed at supporting traders navigating increasingly complex market conditions.

Hewson is best known for his long tenure at CMC Markets, where he spent over 16 years as Chief Market Analyst. During that time, he became a prominent voice in retail trading, providing regular insights across macroeconomic trends, equities, foreign exchange, and commodities markets.

His work earned industry recognition, including multiple nominations for “Analyst of the Year” by City A.M., and he was part of the team behind CMC Markets’ recognition at the Professional Traders Awards for Best In-House Analysts.

Following his time at CMC Markets, Hewson remained active in market commentary, hosting the Good Money Guide Stock Market Podcast and publishing analysis through his own newsletter, covering developments across stocks, commodities, and FX.

At iFOREX, Hewson joins the firm at a notable stage in its development, following its recent IPO on the London Stock Exchange. His role will focus on strengthening the broker’s research capabilities and enhancing its educational offering as it continues to expand its global presence.

Commenting on the appointment, Hewson said he was joining the company at “an important stage” in its growth and highlighted its positioning to further develop its platform and client offering. CEO Itai Sadeh added that Hewson’s experience in global markets and focus on trader education align with the company’s broader strategy to deliver value and innovation to clients.
