FP Markets Appoints Nikolay Nikolaev as New CTO

FP Markets has appointed Nikolay Nikolaev as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), adding a new senior technology executive to its Cyprus-based team. Nikolaev joins after serving as CTO at Skilling and previously holding technology leadership roles at Zenfinex, Global Kapital Group and ActivTrades.

FP Markets Strengthens Technology Leadership

Nikolaev spent around three years as CTO at Skilling before leaving in late 2025 following its acquisition by INFINOX. He previously served as CTO at Zenfinex, now known as Taurex, and held senior technology positions at Global Kapital Group and ActivTrades.

The appointment comes as FP Markets expands its Cyprus-based management team. Earlier this week, the broker appointed Haris Sergiou as Global Head of Business Development and Andreas Neophytou as Global Business Development Coordinator.
