Former iSAM Co-Founder's Offshore Broker JT Markets Appoints New Sales Director

JT Markets, the new offshore CFDs broker founded by former iSAM Securities co-founder Jonathan Brewer, has appointed Fred Gewirtz as its Sales Director, bringing in a veteran executive with deep experience in institutional liquidity and brokerage operations.

Gewirtz joins JT Markets from Sweden-based online broker Scandinavian Capital Markets (SCM), where he served as Head of Institutional Liquidity for the past two years. He previously worked alongside Brewer at iSAM Securities—then known as iS Prime—from 2017 to 2023, heading the firm's iS Risk Analytics sales unit. Gewirtz also has prior experience as Head of Business Development at ThinkLiquidity, a company later acquired by iS Risk Analytics.

JT Markets operates under Seychelles domicile through JT Core Services Limited, a company co-owned by Jonathan Brewer and Raj Sitlani. The firm offers CFD trading via its platform (jtmarkets.trade) and also runs an educational website, Forex Masterclass (forexmasterclass.com), aimed at providing trader training and resources.

The broker's leadership team has recently been reinforced with several industry veterans. CEO Trevor Barwell, formerly of Capital Index, oversees operations, while CMO David Aspinall, ex-Learn to Trade, is responsible for marketing and client engagement.

JT Markets' hiring of Gewirtz signals an early push to combine institutional expertise with educational support for retail and professional traders. Industry observers note that Gewirtz's return to work with Brewer—following their tenure at iSAM Securities—brings continuity in experience and strategy to the newly launched offshore broker.
