ForexClub Review: Which Entity Regulates Your Account, and What Will Trading Cost?

2 jam yang lalu BrokersView

ForexClub legal entities, trading costs and withdrawals

Is ForexClub a safe broker to use? The useful answer starts with a simple question: which company will sign your client agreement? The brand sits within a wider group that advertises several regulated companies, but a licence held by one affiliate does not automatically protect an account opened with another. That distinction matters more than the number of regulatory badges on a landing page.

Our assessment: ForexClub offers a long-running brand, MT4, MT5 and Libertex platform choices, and several identifiable group companies. The weaker points are entity-level clarity and inconsistent public fee information. Obtain the exact contract, commission schedule and withdrawal conditions for the account being offered before funding it. Regulatory warnings in Russia and Colombia deserve a precise, jurisdiction-specific reading rather than either dismissal or exaggeration.

ForexClub, Libertex and the company behind your account

The group's own disclosures say that the ForexClub website is operated by Forex Club International LLC, registered in St Vincent and the Grenadines as 1277 LLC 2021. They separately identify SAEX Pty Ltd in South Africa (FSCA FSP 47381), MAEX Limited in Mauritius (FSC C118023400) and VANEX Limited in Vanuatu (VFSC 41695). A company registration is not, by itself, a financial-services licence; equally, a licence granted to one of these other companies cannot be treated as a group-wide guarantee.

The name Libertex adds another layer. Different Libertex websites and regions may present different legal entities. A European entity's Cyprus authorisation is not evidence that an international ForexClub account is supervised in Cyprus. The decisive documents are the account-opening agreement, the entity named on statements, and the legal terms shown for the client's country. If those names differ from the marketing footer, ask for a written explanation before depositing.

The group also names Holcomb Finance Limited as a processor for deposits and card transactions. A payment processor appearing on a bank or card statement does not necessarily become the broker that owes the client money. Record both names; the distinction can matter if a transfer or withdrawal is disputed.

What do the regulator notices actually say?

The Bank of Russia's entry for Forex Club International LLC records signs of illegal professional securities-market activity. The entry was made in February 2021 and last updated in November of that year. This is a serious jurisdictional signal for anyone assessing Russian-market activity; it is not a finding that every account everywhere is fraudulent. The group's current website says Russia is among the markets it does not accept.

In July 2024, Colombia's financial supervisor ordered two named local promoters to stop unauthorised promotion of Forex Club International LLC/Libertex products to Colombian residents. The order was directed at those promoters and their advertising activity; it should not be rewritten as a universal fraud ruling against the entire group. It does show why a trader must check whether the entity and marketing channel are permitted in their own jurisdiction.

ForexClub describes membership of the Financial Commission and a compensation fund of up to €20,000 for eligible cases. That is a private dispute-resolution arrangement, not a government regulator, deposit guarantee or automatic entitlement for every client. Ask whether your particular contracting entity and dispute fall within its rules.

Minimum deposit and leverage: why the numbers conflict

The BrokersView ForexClub profile presents a 501 CNY minimum on its account cards, while a longer account description on the same page says Standard and ECN accounts start at US$100. These may reflect different products, countries or update cycles, but the public page does not reconcile them. The only useful minimum is the amount shown for the chosen entity and platform in the live application, together with any condition for activating trading or withdrawals.

Leverage is similarly account-specific. The store's cards show up to 1:200 on Libertex, 1:1000 on MT4 and 1:500 on MT5. The headline 1:1000 is therefore a ceiling, not a promise for every instrument, client and region. A trader who funds a small balance to use the largest ratio also faces a narrower margin for adverse price moves; position sizing should start from an affordable loss and stop distance.

How to compare the real cost of MT4, MT5 and ECN

ForexClub offers the familiar MetaTrader tools and a proprietary Libertex interface. That range is useful, but it does not make the accounts interchangeable. The BrokersView account cards display commission entries of 0.06 USD for MT4 and 0.07 USD for MT5, without a sufficiently clear lot or transaction basis. Elsewhere the profile describes a Standard account with no separate commission and an ECN figure of “6”, also without a full charging unit. Publishing one of those numbers as the definitive per-lot fee would be misleading.

Request an instrument-level schedule showing the average spread during your trading hours, commission currency, lot basis, whether it applies on opening, closing or both, swap or overnight financing, conversion charges, and any platform-specific fee. For a standard EUR/USD lot, one pip is usually about US$10: a one-pip spread difference can outweigh an apparently small commission. “From 0.0 pips” describes a possible floor, not an average execution cost.

The broker advertises fast execution and a wide selection of CFDs. Those can be advantages for experienced multi-asset users, but an execution-speed claim does not tell you the fill price in a volatile market. Compare the actual spread and slippage on the instrument and session you trade, particularly around data releases or thin liquidity.

Deposits, withdrawals and the complaint trail

Available payment methods and processing times can vary by location. A request accepted around the clock is not a promise that a bank, card issuer or payment provider will deliver funds the same day. Complete identity checks before moving a substantial sum; use a payment method in the account holder's name and retain confirmations. The current client agreement, not a promotional summary, should explain verification, source-of-funds requests, third-party fees and the return route for deposits.

A practical low-risk sequence is to confirm the contracting entity, make a modest deposit, record the quoted and executed prices, then request a small withdrawal after ordinary trading. If there is a delay, ask support to identify the exact legal entity, contractual clause, documents still required and expected review date in writing. A payment processor's name alone does not identify the party responsible for resolving the trading-account complaint.

Public user comments can point to issues worth checking, but individual allegations are not proof of systemic misconduct. Likewise, an absence of complaints on a single profile is not evidence that every withdrawal succeeds. The strongest assessment combines the legal documents, regulator record, transparent costs and a clear escalation path.

Who should consider ForexClub?

ForexClub may appeal to an experienced trader who values MT4, MT5 or Libertex, understands the differences between the group's entities and can compare total costs on a specific strategy. It is a less straightforward choice for someone who expects a group-level licence to cover any account, relies on a quoted maximum leverage or needs a single unambiguous minimum deposit and commission table before applying.

Use the ForexClub broker profile on BrokersView alongside the agreement offered to you. Where figures or company names differ, obtain a written clarification; do not infer protection from brand history or an affiliate's licence.

Questions traders ask before applying

Is ForexClub regulated?

Some related companies hold named licences, while the ForexClub site identifies a St Vincent and the Grenadines operator. The protections for an individual account depend on its contracting entity and jurisdiction, not the brand alone.

Is the minimum deposit 501 CNY or US$100?

Both appear in the public BrokersView profile in different contexts. Check the live application for your country, account and payment method, then confirm whether the deposit activates normal trading and withdrawal rights.

Does the Financial Commission guarantee my balance?

No. Its advertised fund has eligibility rules and a per-case limit; it is not deposit insurance or a substitute for checking the broker's actual regulator and legal entity.

Bottom line

ForexClub has recognizable platforms and identifiable operating history, but a responsible review cannot reduce safety to a yes/no badge. The contract name, jurisdiction-specific regulator notices, unresolved differences in published prices, and withdrawal procedure determine whether an account is appropriate. Until these points are clear for the actual account offered, the prudent answer is to keep comparing rather than rely on group-level marketing.
