2026-11-03 By Jane

The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) published 12 warnings between 28 October and 2 November 2026, covering eight unauthorised operators and four clones.

They follow BrokersView’s earlier roundup of 22–27 October notices, which covered 11 new warnings and an updated Citibank clone alert.

Eight Unauthorised Operators

The FCA said these operators were not authorised and might be targeting UK consumers.

30 Oct Northern Index Clone of an authorised fund
30 Oct Client.octopus-firm.com Clone of an authorised firm

Clones copy genuine regulatory details to appear legitimate. The genuine businesses and fund identified in these notices have no connection with the clones.

Investor Warning

The FCA advises consumers to avoid these operators. Customers dealing with them will not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or FSCS protection for those dealings.

Check the exact firm, permissions and contact details through the FCA Firm Checker. A familiar name or copied reference number does not establish authorisation.
