DFSA warns investors over false regulatory claims by TRADEMARKET FZCO

20 giờ trước BrokersView

The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) has issued a warning against TRADEMARKET FZCO, saying the entity is falsely claiming to be regulated by the authority in an apparent attempt to gain investors' trust.

According to the DFSA, TRADEMARKET FZCO is neither authorized nor has it ever been licensed to provide financial services regulated by the authority, including managing collective investment funds or providing fund administration services. The regulator also confirmed that no company named "TRADEMARK" is registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and no investment fund called "PERSONAL" appears on its register.

The warning follows the discovery that TRADEMARKET FZCO has been using investment contracts stating that its fund is "subject to the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and its supplementary regulations." The DFSA said these claims are entirely false and unauthorized.

The regulator urged the public not to respond to communications from TRADEMARKET FZCO or transfer money to the entity or anyone claiming to represent it. Investors are also encouraged to verify the regulatory status of firms through the DFSA's official public registers before committing funds.

The latest alert forms part of the DFSA's ongoing efforts to combat investment fraud and impersonation scams, with the regulator continuing to publish warnings and guidance to help consumers identify fraudulent schemes and protect themselves from financial losses.
