CySEC Warns Investors Against Nine Unauthorised Investment Websites
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has warned investors against a number of websites that are not operated by entities authorised to provide investment services or conduct investment activities in Cyprus.
According to CySEC, the websites listed below do not belong to entities that have been granted authorisation under Article 5 of Law 87(I)/2017. The warning covers websites offering or appearing to offer investment-related services without the required regulatory approval.
CySEC urged investors to exercise caution before conducting business with any investment firm and to verify through the regulator’s official website whether a company is licensed to provide investment services or perform investment activities.
The regulator issued the warning on 14 August 2026 as part of its ongoing efforts to alert investors to potentially unauthorised investment service providers.
