Among the flagged brokers, MTB Capitals has been added to the BrokersView Scam List after an investigation confirmed it was falsely claiming regulatory approval in the UK, Cyprus, and Italy.
Meanwhile, icmarkets777.com, now inaccessible, appears to be an impersonation of the legitimate broker IC Markets, a tactic frequently used in investment scams to mislead traders through look‑alike domains, names, and logos. Such impersonation underscores the importance of independently verifying a platform’s identity before depositing funds.
