Digital asset prime broker Sage Capital Management has announced the promotion of Chris Mills to Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Mills joined the firm in May 2025 as Head of Digital Assets, bringing with him 18 years of experience at the Bank of England and over two years at JB Drax Honore.
Since joining Sage Capital, Mills has collaborated closely with CEO Nathan Sage on strategy, product development, liquidity distribution, and trade execution, playing a central role in the firm’s expansion. In his new role as CCO, Mills will oversee sales, marketing, and business development, with recently appointed Sales Director Jason Keogh reporting directly to him.
Nathan Sage, CEO, said: “Chris has proven to be an exceptional hire. His industry knowledge, strategic insight, and drive have accelerated our growth since May. As CCO, he will be instrumental in shaping our commercial strategy and driving the next phase of expansion for hedge funds, asset managers, trading firms, and brokerages partnering with Sage Capital.”
Mills commented: “Joining Sage Capital Management has been highly rewarding. The firm is fast-moving and entrepreneurial, with a clear vision to provide institutional clients with safe, efficient access to digital assets. I look forward to leading our commercial efforts and scaling our global offering.”
Founded in 2015, Sage Capital Management is a regulated digital asset prime broker offering multi-venue execution, deep liquidity, collateralised lending, and crypto-linked banking.
