Axon Markets Names Panagiotis Karamanis as Head of Asia

Axon Markets has appointed Panagiotis Karamanis as Head of Asia, recruiting the former EC Markets executive to lead its regional business development.

Karamanis joins the CFD broker after approximately one year as Country Manager for Thailand at EC Markets. His earlier career includes roles at FXGT, SquaredFinancial and IGM Forex.

From Thailand Management to an Asia Remit

The appointment gives Karamanis a broader regional role following his Thailand-focused position at EC Markets.

His priorities include expanding Axon Markets’ business across the region, strengthening partner relationships and developing its local presence.

Focus on Regional Business Development

Karamanis brings experience across several forex and CFD businesses to the position, with his new remit centred on commercial development and regional partnerships.

Axon Markets is managed mainly from Cyprus and operates through entities domiciled in Seychelles and Mauritius.
