Axi Appoints Andrea Rebusco as Regional Head for UK, EU and LATAM

CFD broker Axi has named Andrea Rebusco as its new Regional Head for the UK, EU, and Latin America, adding an experienced brokerage executive to oversee operations across three major markets.

Rebusco joins the firm after a short stint at Onyx Capital Group, where he served as Managing Director for retail brokerage. During his time there, he helped develop the company’s retail trading offering, which launched last year as the oil-focused market maker expanded beyond its traditional business.

Before that move, Rebusco spent two years at Moneyfarm as Head of Brokerage. Earlier in his career he held senior commercial roles at WiseAlpha, including Chief Commercial Officer and Managing Director responsible for strategic growth and partnerships.

A significant part of his career was spent at IG Group, where he worked for nearly a decade. Joining the London-listed broker in 2009 as a sales trader, he moved through a series of leadership positions covering trading services across Europe. His roles eventually included Head of Trading Services for Italy and Spain, Head of European Trading Services, and later Head of EMEA Trading Services. He also briefly served as Managing Director of IG’s Spanish business.

At Axi, Rebusco will oversee business activities and client operations across the UK, the European Union, and Latin America.

His appointment comes as Axi continues to adjust its senior leadership structure and expand its product offering. The broker has recently been stepping up its presence in digital assets, including the launch of a service that allows clients to buy, sell, and hold cryptocurrencies directly through its trading platform.
