Prop trading technology provider Axcera has appointed Dmytro Nikandrov as Vice President of Engineering, entrusting him with oversight of the company's software architecture, development, and technology innovation. Nikandrov will lead efforts to enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of Axcera's core trading infrastructure, which supports proprietary trading operations worldwide.
Herman Shaho, co-founder of Axcera, commented, "We are delighted to welcome Dmytro to Axcera. Shaho emphasized that Nikandrov's experience in building scalable, high-performance systems is critical as the company continues its global expansion.
Nikandrov brings more than two decades of experience in software engineering and leadership, having held senior positions at Samsung, Huawei, VEON, and VeryGoodSecurity. He is also the founder of Letiko, a software company that developed systems for enterprise clients including the New York Stock Exchange and Vurb, a startup later acquired by Snapchat.
"Joining Axcera is an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of trading technology," Nikandrov said. "I am inspired by the company's mission and the talented team driving its growth. Together, we will continue building systems that deliver reliability, performance, and innovation at scale." Analysts expect his appointment to reinforce Axcera's ability to innovate its trading platforms while supporting the firm's expanding global client base.
