The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has issued a permanent ban against former Western Australia-based financial adviser Neville Allan Kendrick, citing dishonest conduct and unlicensed activity.
Specifically, ASIC determined that Kendrick had been providing financial services without an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) since September 30, 2022. The regulator also found that he made materially misleading statements to investors and engaged in dishonest conduct by providing false information.
Furthermore, ASIC concluded that Kendrick lacks the necessary fitness, propriety, training, and competence required to operate in the Australian financial services sector.
Effective April 22, 2025, Kendrick has been barred from providing any financial services, performing any role in a financial services business, or controlling an entity that carries on such activities. His prohibition has been officially recorded in ASIC’s banned and disqualified register.
