amana Appoints Former Devexperts CTO Andrey Artamonov as Chief Technology and Information Officer

amana has appointed fintech veteran Andrey Artamonov as its new Chief Technology and Information Officer (CTIO), strengthening the neobroker's technology leadership as it continues expanding across the Middle East.

Based in Dubai, Artamonov brings more than 20 years of experience in financial technology. He spent 17 years at Devexperts, including nine years as Chief Technology Officer, where he led an engineering team of more than 700 professionals and oversaw the development of trading platforms, brokerage infrastructure, and wealth management solutions for financial institutions across the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Most recently, he founded Lisbon-based consultancy TripleA Digital, focusing on automation and artificial intelligence solutions for financial and operational workflows.

In his new role at amana, Artamonov will oversee the company's technology division, including application development, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, business intelligence, corporate IT, and platform operations. He will be responsible for advancing amana's technology platform and supporting the broker's product development and regional expansion.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO Muhammad Rasoul said the hire reflects amana's continued investment in technology and innovation, adding that Artamonov's experience building financial technology at scale will help support the company's next phase of growth.

Artamonov said he sees an opportunity to build technology that not only supports amana's expansion but also helps raise the standard for digital investing and trading across the MENA region.

The appointment comes as amana continues to expand its product offering and regional footprint. The broker now serves more than 500,000 users and provides access to over 6,800 financial instruments, including regional and international equities, ETFs, forex, commodities, and other asset classes.
