According to its claims, the company holds a business license from the Saint Lucia International Financial Centre (IFC), possesses an Exchange Act Registration (ERA) status granted by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and is registered with the U.S. Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) as a Money Services Business (MSB) under registration number 31000305408880. Our verification confirms that an entity matching this name does appear in both the Saint Lucia IFC registry and the FinCEN MSB database. However, it is crucial to understand that the Saint Lucia IFC functions primarily as an international business company registrar and does not authorize or supervise forex brokerage services. Also, FinCEN’s MSB registration only permits activities related to money transmission or currency exchange, it does not constitute financial market regulation. Most notably, we found no record of Ryo Global Markets Limited or any affiliated entity in the SEC’s official broker-dealer register, contradicting its claim of holding an ERA status with the SEC. Given these discrepancies and the misleading presentation of regulatory credentials, RYOEX appears to be operating without proper authorization to offer forex trading services.
