Traze Brings in Former Doo Prime Exec Hristo Marinov to Lead LATAM Push

Traze has added another senior name to its regional leadership, appointing Hristo Marinov as Regional Director for Latin America. The hire comes as the broker steps up its efforts across LATAM and other emerging markets, where competition for experienced regional operators remains intense.

Marinov joins Traze with more than eight years in the retail trading space, covering CFDs and forex across multiple jurisdictions. His background spans sales leadership, client growth, and market expansion, with hands-on experience operating under regulators including ASIC, FCA, FSCA, CySEC, and FSA. He is also ASIC licensed.

Most recently, Marinov served as Head of Sales LATAM at Doo Prime, a role he held until late last year. During that time, he focused on regional growth and commercial development for the broker’s Latin American business. Prior to Doo Prime, he worked with Banxso, where he held senior sales and customer support leadership roles, overseeing client engagement and internal team performance for the Africa-focused CFD broker.

Earlier in his career, Marinov spent several years at FXCM in Sofia. There, he moved through a number of commercial roles, including Account Manager and Senior Account Manager, while also coordinating affiliate marketing initiatives. Much of his work was centered on Spanish-speaking and LATAM clients, covering both retail and higher-value segments.

In his new position, Marinov will be tasked with supporting Traze’s regional expansion strategy in Latin America, a market the broker has identified as a key growth driver. Traze offers access to forex, metals, cryptocurrencies, stocks, commodities, and indices, delivered via MetaTrader 4 and its proprietary mobile trading app.

The appointment follows other leadership changes at Traze over the past year. Former CEO Erkin Kamran exited the company to pursue a new venture combining traditional finance and Web3. Separately, Traze named Wassim Anastasiou as Regional Director for MENA, bringing in another experienced operator with a long background at ICM.com.

With Marinov now leading LATAM, Traze appears focused on putting seasoned regional specialists in place as it scales selectively across emerging markets.
