Traze has appointed Murilo de Oliveira as LATAM Country Manager, as the broker accelerates its expansion efforts across Latin America.
Murilo, who is based in London, joins Traze from HFM, where he previously held a similar regional leadership role focused on Latin American markets. Prior to HFM, he spent around three years at Hantec Markets as Global Senior Business Development Manager, concentrating on Portuguese-speaking regions and client development initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Murilo also worked within Brazil’s financial sector at XP Inc. and Itaú BBA, giving him experience across both institutional finance and retail brokerage environments.
In his new role, Murilo will oversee Traze’s regional expansion strategy across Latin America, with responsibilities covering business development, strategic partnerships, and operational growth. Commenting on the move, he said the company’s focus will be on building a “solid and efficient operation” in the region while pursuing long-term growth and stronger regional positioning.
Traze operates under London-based Zeal Group and primarily manages operations from Dubai. The group maintains regulatory licenses across several jurisdictions, including the UAE, UK, South Africa, and Seychelles, as competition among brokers for LATAM market share continues to intensify.
