
MAS Markets has appointed Matt Porter as its new Head of Operations, marking the firm's second senior leadership hire in recent months as it continues to expand its institutional trading and liquidity business globally.
Porter joins the FCA-regulated liquidity provider after spending seven years at ATFX in London, where he served as Head of Operations for the broker’s UK institutional division. He also previously held roles at Morgan Stanley, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Fixi, building extensive experience in financial services operations, governance, and process optimization.
In his new role, Porter will oversee operational performance across MAS Markets, focusing on client onboarding, service delivery, workflow efficiency, and cross-functional coordination. He will also work closely with the executive team to support strategic growth initiatives and enhance the firm's operational infrastructure as its international client base continues to grow.
The appointment follows MAS Markets’ recent hiring of industry veteran Saul Knapp as Chief Risk Officer from Scope Prime, highlighting the firm's continued investment in strengthening its senior leadership team.
Aoperational expertise and experience in building scalable processes will be instrumental in supporting the next phase of MAS Markets’ growth. Porter added that he was joining the company at an important stage of its development and looks forward to helping enhance operational excellence and client service across the business.
