The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has updated its Investor Alert List as of March 3, 2026, adding six unauthorized entities, websites, or investment products.
The newly added entities include Wantage Markets, iDinar, IG MIN, and Invesmen Trade Malaysia. The regulator also flagged two potential clone entities: Hata Digital and Mercury Securities, warning investors that these firms may be falsely claiming affiliation with legitimate companies.

The SC emphasised that the Investor Alert List is not exhaustive and serves only as a guide for investors before making investment decisions. The regulator urged the public to verify the authorisation status of any investment provider and remain cautious of schemes that promise high or guaranteed returns.
Investors are advised to consult the SC’s official website and contact the regulator directly if in doubt about the legitimacy of any platform or offering.
Scammers in Malaysia may promote fraudulent investment schemes on social media and promise unrealistic returns.
