Hong Kong SFC Warns Against Longbridge7, MarketsPick, TradingDice and Other Suspicious Websites

2 hours ago By Mark

Hong Kong SFC warnings issued between 2 and 7 October 2026 identified six suspicious websites, including sites falsely claiming regulatory authorisation and others impersonating licensed securities firms.

Websites Impersonating Licensed Firms

On 2 October, the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) added longbridge7.com to its Alert List, stating that the website was not associated with Long Bridge HK Limited, an SFC-licensed corporation.

On 7 October, the regulator listed boensec.com, confirming that it had no connection with licensed firm Bonus Eventus Securities Limited.

Four Websites Claim SFC Authorisation

On 5 October, the SFC flagged marketspick.com/ar/, openworldmarkets.com, tradingdice.com and bernardshawlimited.com for falsely claiming to be SFC-licensed entities.

The regulator also noted that bernardshawlimited.com displayed a Hong Kong address at Man Yee Building, Des Voeux Road Central, although the website operator was not located there.

The TradingDice entry was subsequently updated on 6 October.

Investors Urged to Verify Licensing

The SFC warns that suspicious website operators may use names resembling legitimate firms to mislead investors.

Investors should verify licensing information and official contact details through the SFC's public register before transferring funds or sharing personal information.
