Hakam Thalji Moves From Orbex to The Trading Pit as Head of Dealing
Hakam Thalji, who has more than 20 years of experience in FX and Global Markets and more than 15 years in an operational environment, has joined The Trading Pit, a global multi-asset proprietary trading firm, as Head of Trading.
Most recently, Hakam served as Head of Brokerage and Dealing Room Operations at Orbex, a multi-body regulated, industry-leading FX broker. He has been with the company for over six years, initially as a Sales Supervisor.
Prior to that, Hakam served as Head of Operations at Vinson Financials Ltd, a specialized online Forex broker. In addition, he served as Head of Dealing Room at Falcon Brokers, Ltd, Dealing Desk Manager at Trader Center, and Chief Dealer at Abrarr Financial Consultant. Besides, Hakam held the role of Head of Customer Services at GOLD AE DMCC.
The appointment follows The Trading Pit's appointment of Artem Lomakin as Chief Innovation Officer.
