Dec 02, 2025 BrokersView

FXTRADING.com has entered a new phase of expansion with the appointment of Adam Robert Phillips as its chief executive officer, marking a major leadership shift for the Sydney-based multi-asset broker. Phillips brings more than 25 years of experience across institutional trading, prime brokerage relationships and multi-asset investment management, stepping into the role in November 2025.

Throughout his career, Phillips has developed and managed over USD 74 million in institutional mandates in FX and futures, executing more than USD 2 billion in monthly volume through major global prime brokers including UBS, Deutsche Bank, Toronto Dominion Bank and Société Générale. His background gives the company a leader with deep operational understanding of liquidity, portfolio construction and institutional execution standards.

Before joining FXTRADING.com, he served as Managing Director of Yellowfin Asset Management, where he designed portfolio and trading solutions for wholesale and institutional clients across foreign exchange, derivatives and securities markets. His earlier leadership at Blue Fin Capital saw him secure mandates from global financial institutions such as Toronto Dominion Bank and FourWinds Capital Management, while overseeing prime brokerage arrangements, risk oversight and multi-exchange strategy execution.

Phillips said the opportunity to lead FXTRADING.com comes at a defining moment for the broker’s global ambitions. He emphasised the firm’s commitment to technology, client transparency and performance-driven infrastructure, adding that the growth strategy will focus on expanding international reach and enhancing operational resilience.

His regulatory and professional credentials reinforce his profile, holding a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA. He has previously been a Registered Representative of the Sydney Futures Exchange, a principal and associate member of the National Futures Association and is certified under the FINRA Series 3 program.
